I was so cozy In my bed. Ready to watch this then go to sleep... But then you reminded me to drink water. As I shed a single tear, I lifted myself out of bed, destroying the perfect coziness I had created. It's a cold dark world we live in.
Those middle of the night outside pictures with fog remind me of my job. I mow greens at a golf course. People may not realize it, but there’s fog almost every morning. I start at 4:30 am and there’s almost always fog. The coolest thing is watching the fog roll through. I’ve watched the fog overtake me. One of the coolest things I’ve seen.
I cannot explain hoy much comfort and fun these videos bring to my life. It doesn't matter the subject, every time I get a notification, I click on it immediately!!!! (It's the only channel that makes me do that XP) You did an amazing job with those photos btw! Wonderful video as always ^^
I don’t know if this is just me. But I think that why liminal space is so nostalgic is because it is very common for these places to be in dreams for me. Like empty stadiums or empty playgrounds have this like feel about them because that’s where so many of my dreams are. I don’t know man it’s really weird.
What bugs me about "modern" liminal space imagery is that people get it confused with Dream/Weirdcore, sure they're not necessarily mutually exclusive, but at the same time they have separate definitions for a reason.
I’d say you did an excellent job in capturing a type of liminal space especially for your first time! I’m sure you’ll end up seeing even weirder stuff in the future, too, and hopefully you get a chance to share that with us
I first got into liminal spaces when I first found the backrooms. I think that liminal spaces are something only certain people can understand. One person may feel calmed looking at a liminal space and someone could feel creeped out.
I absolutely love the photos you made! Especially the second one with orange light and mysterious machineries 😔👌 Almost looks like it’s a screenshot from "Stray" 🐈 The latter two is also very inspiring! It could easily be a scene in an indie horror. Great work!
I'm so glad someone finally brought up the cat in the hat. So many of my fever dreams take place in the scene in the live action movie "mother of all messes". You should have a look at it. Also spy kids set designs give me really strange vibes
Yo, these pictures are sick Legit, I was kind of dozing off halfway through the video ( because I'm sleepy, not saying anything about ur video), and I kept thinking like 3/4ths into it " when is he going to show his pictures?"
I love the liminal space hotel so much and I'm just now finding out that not only is it in London, but I stayed in the hotel NEXT TO IT (Premier Inn Terminal 4) a couple of weeks ago 💀💀💀💀💀
Hello! I agree with other folks here. I like your videos, whatever subject they are. My favorite liminal space was SD comic con in 2010. I was in the exhibit hall before it opened. All the booths were set up but no one was around except for my group. It was amazing and creepy. So quiet...
The "Transition" part means is a place people normally pass by.. not that the place is transitioning like what you said of the store being bought. A place a lot of people normaly pass by, dont live in, that is empty and sometimes has something odd
Was it only my weird liminal dream about chaotic semi-destroyed stairs where you can't even navigate properly? Because your photos of the stairs catched the exast same menacing energy of that kind of the dreams
Fun fact: a standard gazebo can devour a player in one round (no save). Amphitheaters can devour entire parties. Do not tap glass and anger the amphitheater.
Whenever you start your day with a new Greg's video you know it's gonna be a good one! Awesome work dude: your casual chillness cracks me up every time.
Everytime your videos end I get sad because I don't want it to end! LOL Love your content it's so good~!! Your photos looked really awesome!! Congrats on some nice liminal spaces!!
Mmmm liminal, yessssss, very liminal. Delicious. Cool music at the end. I had a thought, and maybe a suggestion: Can music sound liminal? What if you tried to find any liminal-sounding music? I mean, what genres would it be? What time period would it be made from? IIIIIII dunno!
Hey game suggestion, try "Sea of Solitude." Great art design and music, also great story, but with the game mostly being at sea it could be interesting but don't worry about half of what played is beautiful and you might enjoy it.
I love your content! I like that you're doing stuff that other people aren't really doing. Every video is so fascinating! I feel like I'm being introduced to new concepts and ideas. Keep it up man!
your photos were really cool, i especially liked the very unusual orange window one. also city of lost children is a very strange but interesting film.
I'd 100% go to a liminal space theme park. Or maybe it could be something like Sea World but have it be thalassophobia themed. That would be badass, and absolutely terrifying!
14:12 Looks just like a local bar here in Cambridge Ontario called Walshee's. It closed in 2020 and this was exactly how it looked on the last few days after they sold most of the pool tables off. Same tile floor, same basement feel, same dim lighting. It's so close that I literally thought for a second this was it.
I feel like i saw a liminal space looking thing once It was around christmas so i had these light glasses but they slightly tinted things purple And we drove by a fire hydrant under a street lamp while i had the glasses on so it looked cool
Hey Greg, I have a great video idea for you!! You should react to a few scenes from Happy Feet. Particularly the sea lion scene, and killer whale scene. There are a few others that a great but for a children’s movie they really trigger my thalassophobia
I love the stair case photos you made, both of them are kinda unique in a way? Like the first one is just 'huh?' xD And the second one is so creepy with the orange/red light, like the further you walk up the stairs the creepier it gets.. eugh 🙈 Looking forward to other pictures you'll take in the future :3 ❤️
I was a relaxation video of true liminal spades that are in a neutral color palette like white. It’s super calming and reminds me of my Ketamine therapy sessions
If you wanna go to a creepy/liminal type of place, go to myrtle Beach in the off season at 2 am. Was so creepy for me and my gf. A closed down carnival, huge hotels that had very little people in them for their size.. We saw a creepy guy looking out the window of the hotel room attached to the room we were getting.. we said nope and bailed
The photo with the window of an orange Hell-glow looks like a ghostly fire. And the staircases going in all directions looks like you walked into that one MC Echer drawing. The pink-red glow, another phantom fire. I hope no demons followed you home. LOL XD But the orange glowing window one is creepy, like that can be concept art to a horror game that involves a factory fire. I low key wish you showed a picture of the rest of the building, since you said it looked like no other lights were on, because that sounds spooky itself.
Our local AMC built on the third floor of our nearby mall as an extension over the parking structure has a similar set of staircases, though they don't normally see use. They are a fire egress meant to get a large number of people out as quickly and efficiently as possible. Like most modern theaters the layout is split into two wings with each stairwell serving one side to prevent bottlenecking. My friends and I ended up using them on the night of the midnight premeire of Phantom Menace, as by the time we were let out they had fully locked down the rest of the mall, and it was a bit disconcerting to the brain (didn't help it was nearing 3 am at the time). I remember commenting to one of my friends it was like stepping into one of Eschers drawings.
I have to imagine that I'm the only 59 yr old women completely addicted to your vids. Like I know I don't belong but crossing my fingers that yall just let me stay. I could bake cookies or something. I loved YOUR pic's and would enjoy more because your creative and should explore that more. Those of us who have been here from the beginning are totally engrossed watching you grow. Your honesty is so refreshing. I'm rooting for you. 😇
I love this comment! I like knowing that my videos can appeal to a wide range of people. I also love the idea that you could overhear some youngsters talking about Liminal Space or some of the other obscure internet trends I talk about and be like “oh yeah I know all about this” and totally surprise them Thanks for supporting my little channel, you are allowed to stay as long as you like 😊
@@GregBroDudeMan YESSSS That has happened with my Grandson. I have also turned some other people on of all ages. Thanks for letting me stay. Cookies will be baked!!! 🥰
I need to take a picture of the top floor of my apartment complex parking garage. It has ZERO cover, so nobody parks there. All the walls are concrete rather than the brick of the rest of the building. It just looks like a concrete box with sky.
A couple years back I used to clean an airport. I did split shifts so I would clean at 11am then again at midnight after the final plane had landed. I was cleaning the security lounge and one of the detectors malfunctioned and went off. I may have peed my pants and let out a scream like i was being murdered. Being completely alone in an airport in the middle of the night is both one of the most peaceful and creepy places to be. (Also male genitalia havers, we cleaners do not want to see you walk in swinging your junk around. No one is impressed with your meager offerings)
hear me out.. liminal spaces arent limited to real life, they can extend to false pictures as well, there is one drawing/painting of a certain wooden door and it's familiar to everyone i know
funny when ppl avoid the fact that Kane single handedly made Liminal Space mainstream. Give that boy his credit... Idc how many ppl had followings on reddit, nobody actually even knew what liminal space was until Kane Pixels' backrooms series hit youtube. The only ppl that knew what it was were teenagers and adult teenagers that spent most of there life on Reddit forums. Lol not trying to be a dick but that kid deserves his credit he took the liminal space concept and completely brought it to life, shortly after that thousands of ppl just started stealing his whole storyline and trying to copy his concept for views, not to mention only one of those thousands of ppl were even close to being as good as Kane's content but he still wasn't able to nail it like Kane did. Everyone was sad when Kane moved on from the backrooms series, but his new series The Oldest View is just as good. Kane Pixels has a bright future. (I know his last name isn't Pixels btw)
I was so cozy In my bed. Ready to watch this then go to sleep... But then you reminded me to drink water. As I shed a single tear, I lifted myself out of bed, destroying the perfect coziness I had created. It's a cold dark world we live in.
I felt that in my soul
:c

Greg, we've been waiting for this
Your whole personality and the vibe you give out is extremely comforting and entertaining
I love your thalassophobia content the most, but any Greg content is good content to be honest. Keep being awesome my Brodudeman!
I first got into liminal spaces when I first found the backrooms. I think that liminal spaces are something only certain people can understand. One person may feel calmed looking at a liminal space and someone could feel creeped out.
That second photo you took of the orange room was beautiful and very eerie
A liminal space theme park would be so cool, but you'd have to limit how many people can enter because having a crowd would ruin the liminal-ness
Dude, yes. This video was freakin awesome. Good job, Greg! 👍🏻
I've been watching your videos for quite some time now, and I'm loving the liminal series as well. Great photos! 👏
I absolutely love the photos you made!
Especially the second one with orange light and mysterious machineries 😔👌
Almost looks like it’s a screenshot from "Stray" 🐈
The latter two is also very inspiring! It could easily be a scene in an indie horror.
Great work!
Greg in 5 years: guy with thalassophohia goes diving in the Mariana trench
There are very few UA-camrs that I watch that I genuinely feel would be an awesome, chill person to meet. And you are #1 on the list
Congratulations on the liminal space photos you took! The red-lit stairs photo sent chills down mi spine.
Your vids get better and better with every upload 🎉 Love this!
Your second photo is actually so good, you should post it on the liminal space subreddit
Thank you Greg, I drank my water. Looking after your subscribers haha. We love your liminal space videos ❤
I'm so glad someone finally brought up the cat in the hat. So many of my fever dreams take place in the scene in the live action movie "mother of all messes". You should have a look at it. Also spy kids set designs give me really strange vibes

WAKE UP DEAR, GREG POSTED A NEW VIDEO !!!
Hello! I agree with other folks here. I like your videos, whatever subject they are.
My favorite liminal space was SD comic con in 2010. I was in the exhibit hall before it opened. All the booths were set up but no one was around except for my group. It was amazing and creepy. So quiet...

A place a lot of people normaly pass by, dont live in, that is empty and sometimes has something odd
Greg is becoming more nuts by the day, but I still love ur videos, keep it up brother😅 🤙🏻🙌🏻
7:20 I've had so many dreams where I'm navigating weird stairwells like this. Very M.C. Escher.
Whenever you start your day with a new Greg's video you know it's gonna be a good one! Awesome work dude: your casual chillness cracks me up every time.
Great pics! That orange light room was just so bizarre
Everytime your videos end I get sad because I don't want it to end! LOL Love your content it's so good~!!
Your photos looked really awesome!! Congrats on some nice liminal spaces!!
Its 6AM where I live, I haven't slept yet but I WILL watch at this unholy hour
Mmmm liminal, yessssss, very liminal. Delicious. Cool music at the end. I had a thought, and maybe a suggestion: Can music sound liminal? What if you tried to find any liminal-sounding music? I mean, what genres would it be? What time period would it be made from? IIIIIII dunno!
You should watch the titanic sinking scenes
Hey game suggestion, try "Sea of Solitude." Great art design and music, also great story, but with the game mostly being at sea it could be interesting but don't worry about half of what played is beautiful and you might enjoy it.
i love seeing nice comments from new viewers haha, it’s nice to see greg getting the right attention ❤
Liminal spaces mess my mind up 😱 great content tho Greg as allways ❤️
I love your content! I like that you're doing stuff that other people aren't really doing. Every video is so fascinating! I feel like I'm being introduced to new concepts and ideas. Keep it up man!
your photos were really cool, i especially liked the very unusual orange window one. also city of lost children is a very strange but interesting film.
The laser tag hallways was a spot on observation
I know Greg was talking about a regular Outro, but I like the random ass Outros that only an AI could come up with, it’s so unique.
I'd 100% go to a liminal space theme park. Or maybe it could be something like Sea World but have it be thalassophobia themed. That would be badass, and absolutely terrifying!
It only opens at night. There's a huge tank that you can scuba dive at in the darkness. Maybe someone should tell Russ McKamey 🤣
My favorites from you are definitely Liminal spaces and Thalasaphobia stuffs.
I spelled that wrong - tisk
Pretty cool, sad you didn’t go to the back rooms 😢
Nice! A new video. Always fun when you upload! Also that orange room was super weird, but very cool

Same tile floor, same basement feel, same dim lighting. It's so close that I literally thought for a second this was it.
Wow... Real footage of THE liminal hotel! I thought the ambient noise of people actually being there was much scarier than silence though.
I literally am not physically able to have a reaction to liminal space for some reason. No matter how hard I try to react I just can’t
I feel like i saw a liminal space looking thing once
It was around christmas so i had these light glasses but they slightly tinted things purple
And we drove by a fire hydrant under a street lamp while i had the glasses on so it looked
cool
You should play The Complex: Found Footage
love your liminal space photos. the staircase to hell was hilarious
Hey Greg, I have a great video idea for you!! You should react to a few scenes from Happy Feet. Particularly the sea lion scene, and killer whale scene. There are a few others that a great but for a children’s movie they really trigger my thalassophobia
Great job with the photos, and your channel in general.
My first job was the closing shift at a movie theater and let me tell you..when there’s no people and no noise, that shit feels eerie 😅
4:48
oh, greg. we already know that, my dude man!
Your pictures are so cool!!! Good job
I love the stair case photos you made, both of them are kinda unique in a way?
Like the first one is just 'huh?' xD
And the second one is so creepy with the orange/red light, like the further you walk up the stairs the creepier it gets.. eugh 🙈

Wake up honey, new Greg video dropped!
Bro this guy is one my my favorite UA-camrs fr 🙏
Whenever I see you upload a new video is a great day man, love your every stuff. Good work!
@16:11 - That's where Terrifyer 3 needs to take place.
I was a relaxation video of true liminal spades that are in a neutral color palette like white. It’s super calming and reminds me of my Ketamine therapy sessions
Same! The Liminal spains are weirdly comforting for some reason
We need that liminal spaced thalassophobia vid fuh sho.
16:27 I found that building on street view, too, it's a fecking IRS building
If you look very closely at 00:00 you can see that the video is starting
Oh wow true
Mind blown
I don't know if there's a liminal space museum but if there isn't, we desperately need one
Your pictures were AWESOME! I liked them very much! More please!
you should take more photos, you're good at it!
My first time watching any of
your videos... The liminal spaces are my favorite.
I'm not so keen on the liminal space thing, I enjoy his other content. Love it!
If you wanna go to a creepy/liminal type of place, go to myrtle Beach in the off season at 2 am. Was so creepy for me and my gf. Nice photos, Greg, I'll pass on visiting that strange hotel in England.

I love these videos and you did great on the liminal space pictures
I always get so sad when they have to tranquillise the amphitheatre :(
Nice photos!! Have you ever seen the movie Vivarium? Kind of liminal space horror!!
Dude you need to patent that theme park idea because you know somebody is going to hear that and watch in couple years it'll be opening somewhere.
