ORLANDO PRE TRAVEL & TRAVEL DAY - PREMIER INN GATWICK, BRITISH AIRWAYS & DISNEY SARATOGA SPRINGS

We start our pre-travel day at home in Surrey - weather is awful and we are so excited to get to the heat. We check into The Premier Inn North Terminal having dropped the car at the Gatwick parking holiday special. We take advantage of British Airways Twilight check in and head to Giraffe for dinner. We play UNO and enjoy a Costa hot chocolate before heading to bed. Travel Day starts early with a Premier Inn breakfast before we step on board British Airways 777 to MCO. Touching down just over 9 hours later into the new Terminal C terminal before collecting our car through AVIS. We head to Public for some essentials before checking into Disney Saratoga Springs and heading out to Eet for dinner!

Nice vlog and I do fully agree with you about the value of getting Global Entry 🙂 I assume you still paid the old fee of $100 per person for 5 years, which is definitely less than 100 pounds! (The price will go up to $120 on October 1st 2024). Another perk is that you can use TSA Pre-check if you have a connection within the US or on your way back as that is included! Since I'm staying with a friend in Florida, I tend to make the most of it and stretch it out to just one day over 12 weeks 🙂 That's 85 days as 90 days is the maximum you can stay on an ESTA and I always like to travel on a Wednesday 🙂

Hey there just watching your vlog, I have a question for you…how did you get row 20 on the plane as the lady I spoke to when booking our seats said they could not be booked (and exit row seats) until the day on check in (in case there were people with babies etc for the sky cots) Was this the same for you? I am trying to get extra leg room seats for my hubby who is waiting on a hip replacement and they won’t let me book any exit rows as we have booked special assistance. Any advice would be appreciated. Love the vlog, can’t wait to see the rest. Xx

We logged on line and were able to book them - there were no babies on the entire row 20. We are also Bronze members with BA.
