Very well articulated, very clear and the passion in his fight against drugs is commendable. I feel like the older leaders of PAGAD saw a loophole and wanted to turn the organisation into an islamic group which obviously raised the eyebrows of the whole world. I think PAGAD would have won it war on drugs, had they refrained from their islamic rhetoric. The objective is very commendable and we wish them well and we'll support them as well.
So true. I remember when pagad came to our town for a march. It was all men with Muslim headgear and scarves. They paraded like a militia in our streets chanting Islamic slogans. No one supported them because of that. They went back to cape town and never returned.
One of the best interviews I've seen for the year. I'd like to meet this uncle one day. So much truth, passion and wisdom. I salute you. We need more people like this❤
I'm from Cape Town. These guys were more feared and respected by gangs than the police. They were the go-to guys when the community had issues. I know them and have seen them in action personally.
28:22 can we please make this day a reality. I feel so sad when I walk through my community and see a potential doctor, teacher or engineer on the corner for dealing, gambling or robbing. That CANNOT be their futures. How are we allowing this? This is not the South Africa (or world) I wanna leave for my kids.
Despite,i agree with that part Zuma named his new party after MK because he's trying to vandalise the history of the original MK organisation founded by Mandela.
They dont make them like they used to. This is the type of leader I would support. Our current leaders are more interested in lining their pockets at the expense of the poor and needy. I salute the gentleman for his efforts, may the fight against gangsterism and drugs continue! Our country our community need more people like you Mnr. 🫡
Mashaa Allah This Bro is very eloquent in his description off why it is important to attach one's self to your community. He addresses fear nd challenges with an open mind nd he is very mindfull off the consequences but it does,nt deter him at all. Hs appeal for community Co operation nd Affiliiation is spot on which is where our success lays.
😂 blames politicians ai jirri as if the politicians are coming into your community to buy their "stuff". It's YOUR laaities, your neighbors laaities, YOUR community supporting these dealers! The blame for these gangsters still flourishing is solely on the community itself, they exist because of YOU!!! STOP THE DEMAND AND SUPPLY WON'T BE PROFITABLE. We cannot expect any better when we make convicted criminals our leaders, TSEK!!!
You have very little understanding brother , it's not so simple to just stop using if you are an addict .. maybe don't speak just based on emotional reactions , politics in South Africa really is corrupted and whether they are part of the gangs or not it is their job to fight these things and in that they are utterly useless
A skewed representation of what pagad is and was. Gangsters feared them why? Because they killed gangsters by "playing law giver and law enforcer". How is it possible for the authorities to keep you in prison for no cause? If pagad is such a big community surely they had access to legal representation in court.
Authorities kept them in prison because the order came from the top such as politicians and the likes. Those ontop needed to keep the communities unsafe and focused on fearing for their lives and living in poverty so that they can stay in power and develop areas for them and keep a city for themselves. It's a well orchestrated scheme to keep these communities subjugated. Whoever poses a threat to their power they are dealt with using the law enforcement as their tool.
@@naqeembinlanden5969crime is worse than what it was. These gangs have better connections these days. So instead of calling people Poesies, let people have their own opinion. Not everybody's opinion should be identical to yours. So if pagad is good, why are these underground drug lords so popular?

Surely you will get the support of 100's of thousands, if you form a political party. Consider the idea, maybe NCC and PA will join your party.
