I agree with the carclub bit lol, i run a car club in FL, we only let people join if they actually work on their car, have plans for it either show, race, or drift. Too many clubs of just lowered cars on stock wheels.

I’m in a car club with standards, not anyone can join, we host permitted meets and shows, and you can’t get in just because your car looks good either. Gotta get to know you first and decide later on if you’re in or not. There are good clubs out there but not common. Over here in NY at least

Was in a club back in late 90's you had to have at least 5 mods to begin with and plans or working on other things but after a couple yrs you just had to know a member,own a car and be willing to pay the 100+ for the window sticker. Obviously cut ties with it once that started.

There is a way to make paint stick on anmy surface iincluding old plastic. But there is more than one step and it is a lot more work. Sand the the surface, then you put body filler on it, block sanding is next. You will have to get the surface as smooth as possible. (No you can't paint yet., there is one more step.) Now you shot the esurface with primer, then you paint, and finally you clear coat. Metal has to treated ins a special way first as well. Signed-Richard. Yes, I have done bodywork. 14:19. When it comes to car clubs, I don't know, honestly. There is a wide range of people in the Lexus owner club I am in. Some people just like the cars and want to go cruise places and don't do many modifications. Others have all kinds of mods, from air suspension all the way to supercharger kits and custom sound systems. But we all try to respect that some people don't want to modify their cars - they just want to drive the mountains or whatever. I fall into that camp. My car is bone stock, but I still got it to be a sorta daily driver (though I work from home) and mountain-road cruiser on the weekends. I honestly don't want to do much to it, if I ever do touch it, other than maybe better brakes and an exhaust. I just don't see the point of going to a full "build" when I already like the car, and neither should I expect everyone to. It depends what the point of the club is.

Motor wont turn over I think its a stuck valve, will be pulling it in the next couple days, this summer i plan to do a cheap rebuild with a set of 2G pistons (8.5:1 compression lower than my 1G NA piston) and then ima do some cheap ass eagle rods with 22mm wrist pins to fit the 2G pistons, then im probably going to go DSMLink3 and a cheap 16G turbo off ebay
