What why can’t he be on Chris side? Mike was Angelina go to shoulder to cry on about her marriage issues and she turned out to be lying to mikes face the entire time she was going to him for marriage advice. He has a right to feel manipulated and used by Angelina.

She got a pass for it when she got involved in Ron's business b/c Ron's situation was SO toxic, but she was meddling in that too inviting Jen to stuff knowing that her and Ron were not getting along. She would've flipped out if someone invited Roger out with them.

If you’re recovering and looking out for people, that’s great but you can’t be in recovery and start drama at the same time because you’ll end up back in the same place. i vaguely remember but, there was a swipe up incident where Angelina did a swipe up about Mike being in prison, and prior to that made inappropriate comments about mike going to prison during her dress fitting and theres others. To me, Angelina and Lauren are just 2 different people.
Angelina kind of ruined her wedding dress shopping, also Angelina being Angelina and playing victim of universe is exhausting to be around so there was never a reason to look past the wedding stuff and try being friends.
They all use Ange for their continued storylines as non of the others want to share fully anymore & want to keep their private lives private. Sadly this fell well with Angelina's return to the group & her willingness to do whatever it takes to grab fame & make money like the others have. It's really sad that Mike puts his own need for the spotlight first & doesn't care about ruining the life of his so called friend.
I'm bored with the franchise, they clearly decide what's going to happen pre shooting & every time Ange takes a hit. I'm not sure why it's so popular, they all live unrelatable lives now & it's nothing like the original show that lots of us grew up with. How long can they carry this on for before it crashes & burns? I'm sick of all the branding too & pushing of individual products. My final thought re Mike is that this always happens with people who make sobriety their living; it's totally unsustainable bc no one is perfect. How does his 'reformed brand positive' continue after being so cruel to his cast member & friend? The 'Mike & Laurens' bubble has totally burst for me this season, she is just as messy & self absorbed as he is.
