I really enjoy your content, it's helpful for learning Chinese because you speak about real things instead of keeping conversations superficial and focusing only on the shock value. I wonder if you'd be up to adding mandarin subtitles for both the english and chinese portions going forward as that would be extremely helpful (for me at least, though I'm sure others as well). I would honestly genuinely appreciate it!
I enjoy your videos because you have decent conversations with people. You're very natural speaking with people, no pretense 👍🏾. It's true there are people who can speak more than two languages, but the difference is HOW you speak to people. I find your conversations interesting. Kind regards 🙏🏾🇬🇧
Thanks so much my friend. I'm glad you are finding that , as that's my aim. The initial hook might be the more simple "wow u can speak Chinese" but hoping people stay and become fans for the content of the conversation which is trying to be a bit deeper than the normal language content
Hermoso poder compenetrarse con alguien a ese nivel solo al romper la barrera del idioma... La verdad no somos tan diferentes los unos de los otros tal y como pensamos. Saludos cordiales desde Venezuela ❤
Hello British Jack! Great video. It makes me very happy that you are so encouraging to the people still in university. I hope your positivity will inspire them.
I’m glad I got to study in China at Shanghai East Normal University when I did. It was spring of 1989 and I stayed in the international students dorm and everyone was very friendly and interested in practicing their English with an American. That situation has changed since then. I’m sure I wouldn’t recognize the country if I went back today. The big development boom transformed the whole country. In those days there were more bikes than cars. I have so many fond memories of China and it’s nice to see all these wonderful young people having such great exchanges with Jack. Both parties in these conversations reflect well on their respective countries. They show how we can communicate in a positive way across borders.
I feel that last girl, it's the exact same mood, I had in school. Just get it over with, and do something else, I was so tired the last 3 years of school. I didn't even have the energy to hang out with friends or even to watch the tv, it was get back home, and change clothes and hit the bed. 12 hours of school per day, really took a toll.
