Awesome stuff Mathew, this is very helpful.
What was your strategy on practicing past past papers?Lets say if you never knew the answer to a question. WHAT DID YOU DO?

Thank you so much for the compliment.
So, my strategy to question practice, like I said, was under exam condition. I practiced to time at least 6 complete questions to know how long it would take in the actual exam. I timed myself and set my practice area as if it's an exact exam.
What I did when I came across unknown questions is to move on. Since I'm under time condition By moving on, I have allowed enough time for other questions that I knew so well since the plan is to pass the exam by answering at least 95% of the questions.
So I advise that you move on when you come across questions that you don't know so it doesn't waste your precious time.
But if you are just practising without a timer, it's an opportunity for you to go back to your study to know what that question is. Question practice helps you to know what area you've covered so well and what area you should focus less.
      Thank you.

thank you for the guidance, do you recommend to go for AAA or APM? I have tried both but cannot get through

      It's my pleasure.
My opinion is usually based on your career goal. Both papers are tough and value-adding. If you see yourself in the audit field, AAA will likely be more beneficial. But if you are a generalist with career goals in management accounting, process development, performance management etc. APM is most suitable. Ask where you would like to see yourself and choose based on this. I wrote both papers and have no regrets.

There is a video on how to navigate APM as well. You can find this on my channel.

My mind is simple, I just want to pass exam. I have been struggling to pass my options papers. Any advice?

    • @TheFinanceEdge

@@MrFooyokemeng I sincerely appreciate your tenacity. I struggled with my optional papers (APM & AAA) too.
My candid advice is to ensure you take each paper separately. Allow enough time to practice more questions on the CBE platform. Without sound question practice, passing APM and AAA is practically difficult. You must practice to time and get an expert or study buddy to review the quality of your answers for you.
Always believe you can do it. I passed APM on the 6th attempt and AAA on the 4th attempt and out of the lessons I learned was the purpose of making this video. Please follow me on Linkedin if possible to share further tips and insights.
