I love how you went from the very start all the way to the end and talked about every nuance. Such a good teacher you've taught me so much.. thank you best resolve channel on UA-cam.
Chadwick, you are the Davinci Master. I wasn't interested in this lesson; your captivating instruction taught me much more than I expected. This lesson is compelling, with keyboard shortcuts and much more! I have been in this business for thirty years; you are the Guru in Davinci. Thanks for the knowledge!
That's super kind of you. I am curious though - what areas of Resolve would you like to learn more about this year? I'm scheduling out my course creation and youtube tutorials.
@@CreativeVideoTips It is easier to comprehend the magic of Fusion. Also, the coolness of Fairlight and Bussing. Thank you, and I Will Support You Channel, I have been a fan for over 2 years. Because of you, I have 4 Speed Editor Devices and 2 Replay Editors on my machines in this office. Thank you so much, Chadwick, for what you do for this community.
@@CreativeVideoTips I am from India. I would love to learn basics to advance from you, especially Editing, Color grading, and Fair light Audio. I don’t think Fusion will be helpful as of now, not everyone wants to learn animation especially someone who is new into vlogging and is beginner. I am sure lots of youtubers in India wish the same. And one more thing kindly keep your course under a reasonable price so that people like us can also afford it….😊
I don't need screen replacements in my work, but I will always watch your videos because I feel like I always learn something useful anyway. I like that you kinda show the whole setup and not just the essence of what the tutorial is about.
This could not have come on a better time! Have been frustrated with planartracker for weeks not able to adjust it manually. thank you so much for this detailed & easy to follow tutorial!
Nice video Chadwick. For 99.99% of people this accuracy of the screen replacement is more than good enough, especially if it is for something like a UA-cam video.
Not going to lie.... I've been doing screen replacements in Fusion for years and I still learned a few tricks in this "Beginners" vid. Thanks as always.
Great vid as usual ❤ are u on the absolute latest version? The workspace layout mid flow vertical has disappeared to my knowledge, the menu options are all new... I could not figure it out, and it was some cryptic info on the release notes about it as well if I remember correctly 🤔
Lol @2:02 the reason is because you loaded a template and tried to demonstrate changing to that color management when it clearly displays those settings won't be changed right there in the settings window😅😅😅😅😅😅 Lololol.
You said three nodes… I’m counting seven! Again… I hate to repeat myself but when it comes to this is for beginners, you are clueless. You’re great at what you’re doing, but you have no idea what it’s like to be a beginner. I’d actually like to see you do something with only three nodes. That’ll be the day.
Good video but let’s be honest… You said this is simple and for beginners… You have no clue what a beginner is. This is not for beginners… This is very complicated stuff. Yes I would’ve used the planer tracker and I do understand why this is better but this is not simple and this is not for beginners. You are so into this program that you have no idea What it’s like to try to use fusion when you know very little about it.
Hey, Chadwick. I’m a big fan of your Videos an have been learning from you for years. More than grateful for you and a hand full of others who have enabled mine and potentially many other people’s careers. I’m here to say thank you and finally give a quick little tool tip back that I recently discovered since I was also annoyed by the multiview preview when sliding an edit. You can actually press shift while performing the slide edit and temporarily override the multiview preview when it’s enabled. Makes me a little proud to be able to teach something back to the goat. All the best Paul 🫰 30:05

The level of detail at which you explain stuff in Resolve, is totally Dope!
Keep it up mate!

Brilliant presentation! Thank you.
This is such a fantastic tutorial. Thanks so much, Chadwick, I appreciate knowing how much time and effort you put into these.
I love you bro, I had to do screen replacement for a short film and u dropped a video at the right time
Hey that's great - hopefully this helps you get the job done.
Even though I'm not a beginner and I know this stuff already, I see a new video, I click. The information is too valuable to skip

Thanks Doug, yep I'm hoping this will be a useful guide for many.
Extrem helpful. Thanks 😊
Yes! More advanced stuff too please! Always learn something from you videos.
For SURE we want more advanced techniques! This is great
Very good. I knew about the existence of reference Fusion compos, but not exactly how they worked. Thank you very much.
You may call this *BEGINNER* but as a longtime DR (since v 14) user, I've learned a whole bunch of helpful stuff here. Thanks!

Forget about it, I can see now this changes based on using dual screen. With dual screen the preset "Big Nodes" works out best for me 😊
Excellent work.
Great stuff!
Absolutely Awesome simple deep dived - Love it :D
Excellent. Thank you.
I got it, thank you 👍
As I understand it, Intellitrack track points are only available in paid Studio version (which I have)
when my screen is green ,after magic mask invert mask not working properly.
🤘🙏

He has ALOT of careless editing mistakes in these videos I noticed. Take this channel with a grain of salt
@Pizzafromthepresident thanks for the heads up
I'm sure he'll promptly issue you a refund if you ask.
