@@brianbuckman6908 i think it’s the other way around for the dice rolls, as it’s at least double fours for 1/36 at least double fives for the next and so on. still gets the same final answer tho
@@gymleaderhasan it does. Although the chances of rolling two fours, two fives, or two sixes is each 1/36, the 3rd dice you must roll has a different minimum value for each scenario in order to reach the desired value of a 13 roll. Its amazing as a kid how I hated Pewdiepie because all he did was scream, and now as an adult in my mid 20s Poofesure makes me laugh so hard by doing nothing but screaming at Nintendo games.
Let's look at "The statistical odds" of that last winning move by red Matt. He needed 13 spaces, so a doubles of 4 or higher was already mandatory. That's three possible combinations out of 36. With a double 6 he's through guaranteed, double 5 he needs a 3+ after (66%) and with his double 4 he needed a 5 or 6 (33%). So the chance to even reach the end was 1/36 + 1/36 * 4/6 + 1/36 * 2/6. His total chance to reach the end was 2:36 or one in eighteen. He then also had to 1:6 the actual winning roll. Which leads to a grand total of 1:108, or slightly less than 1%. His chance of winning on that move was 0,925925... percent and he hit it ^^ Good on you red Matt! And yet another reason not to trust digital dice in board games.
Fun fact about this game: One of the AI is always coded to follow the players movement. So if you do nothing, one of the AI will just do nothing as well.
The Minigame at 2:23 the thing that screws most people over is that they aren't spamming the heck out of the 2 button. That's how you get the speed to go fast in that game is by button mashing and also using the arrows to navigate the course and then the three rings that pop up every now and then make you go faster when you go through them
Dude legit I played against Lucía the other day, on round two she was already half way through the board while everyone else was still at the beginning😭

as someone who played this during my childhood ALOT his passive aggressive “everything is ok” tone is so funny. sometimes Id think the game would only go my way if I pretend to not be mad
At 14:11 Matt rolling two 4's in a row is already pretty low, 1/36 chance of happening. Matt only needed to roll a 5 or 6 in order to reach to the top, so we multiply 1/36 with 1/3, then this turns to a 1/108 chance of him getting that exact roll. It gets even worse when Matt rolls 6 **again** multiplying another 1/6 chance, meaning in total, the chance of that Matt in getting Double-4s, a 6 (or a 5) and a 6 again is *1 in every 648* . Just barely a 0.15%.
Theoretically, if we just wanted the chance of him winning, we have to consider ALL possible initial dicerolls. Since he has more than 12 spaces to go, we have to only take pairs above 4 into account(since any other combination cant achieve more than 12) So its 1/36 for for double 4 times 1/3, as you said, but plus 1/36*2/3(possibility of two 5's and the following roll being the minimum 3 required) plus 1/36(possibility of two 6's) Overall the function is (1/36*1/3+1/36*2/3+1/36)*1/6 So the chance of matt winning from that position was about 0.9%
I also like how poof in 6:06 doesn’t realize whenever someone or him gets a roll like that it automatically means a 6 lol. He still hasn’t realized this for 2+ years
The way the dice rolls let's you know what you are going to get, I have played Wii Party for like 5 years, so I have basically memorized the way the dice rolls, but only for the white one, the special dices are still kind of hard for me to figure out
If my math is correct, Red Matt luck at the end was a 1/216 chance of happening. For him to get doubles he would need a 4 or higher on both die and a 5 or a six just to reach the top. So for him to roll a 4 or better on the first die is a 1/2 chance and for him to roll a 4 or better on the second die is a 1/6 chance. So for him just to roll a useful double, it’s a 1/12 chance. Then bc he rolled 4s, he needed a 5 or a 6 to reach the end which is a 1/3 chance of happening. This means him getting to the end was a 1/36 chance of happening. AND to get a 6 at the end is a 1/6 chance which means the odds for Red Matt to have done that move was a 1/216 chance of happening, or .46%
THAT'S ACTUALLY INSANE. It just shows how rigged this game is! The odds of getting murdered are 1 in 200. So poof was more likely to get murdered than to have this happen to red matt. Like seriously that is just crazy
2:25 - This is literally the one minigame I was always getting first at. Like, no joke, it was like my main; or at least the one I always said I was best at. I think you just yolo it moving around with the D-pad and you win. As far as I remember.
I just love how games that employ RNG mecanics just improve the CPU's difficulty but just having them statically roll better than the players, sometimes to the degree of illegal luck
2:26 you just have to keep mashing the A button i think (whatever it says to make you go faster) and then you can tell youre charecter what direction to go with the direction keys. sometimes circles will spawn and when you go through them you get a little boost (but pretty much always the person in front will of course fly through the circle first so he will get the boost :)
I've done the math and I believe it is helpful to know that during the final turn before red matt won, red matt had a 1 in 108 chance of rolling enough to win.
14:58 Let’s see here… When you roll two dice, there are 36 possible outcomes. Three of them would get someone in position to roll a 14: double fours, double fives, and double sixes. So, the odds of getting the doubles needed is 3 out of 36, or 1 in 12. Then, when you roll one more dice, there are 6 possible outcomes. If you rolled double fours, you would need to roll a 6 to get 14, which happened to Red Matt. If you rolled double fives, you would need to roll a 4 to equal 14, and if you rolled double sixes, you would need to roll a 2 to equal 14. In all of those cases, the odds of getting the number you need to equal 14 is 1 in 6. This brings the odds up to 3 out of 216, or a 1 in 72 chance. Finally, when at the top, you need to roll one dice again, and there is only one outcome in which Red Matt wins the game, and that is if he rolls a 6. So, the odds of winning first try with one dice are once again 1 in 6. So, the odds of Red Matt rolling a 14, reaching the top, and winning the game are 1 in 432, or roughly 0.2315%.

14:58 Let’s see here…
When you roll two dice, there are 36 possible outcomes.
