I can't say this enough BUT ... the trio of the original founding member Fayette Pinkney, lead singer Sheila Ferguson and longtime running member Valerie Holiday is the BEST Three Degrees group ever assembled! Pinkney, Ferguson and Holiday is the QUINTESSENTIAL THREE DEGREES 🥰🥰🥰
In my opinion this is by far the best live performance of The Three Degrees. It is possible to feel how they sing with all their heart and soul in each song, in addition of course to all the elegance of each one of them in the dresses, makeup and everything else. The orchestra is also excellent, which added something extra to this TV special. My favorite song is "Take Good Care Of Yourself" and I never get tired of listening to it. I even feel goosebumps on my skin. Simply incredible. I love them so much! ❤🔥
They certainly gave it everything. Nothing like this has appeared since. The human race is going backwards, I reckon we'll turn into pond slime pretty soon.
25:25 this is where they start the fugue- this is the BEST execution of the end of If And When I’ve heard from them. It’s so insanely great. Sure, I’m pmsing right now and the ending made me cry, but it was still thoroughly deserved. This arrangement is INSANE (it’s a real fugue - it’s so amazing when done right but so hard) and they pulled it off so perfectly. Oh my goodness!
Simply a fabulous video!! The Three Degrees were ALWAYS beautiful and classy ladies singing up a storm!! Was great to hear them sing songs I have never heard them sing before. Miss the 70' with talented singer like this!!
