Found myself applauding multiple times including that amaze save. Every time I watch Syd on beam I think about how she used to do her dismount from a couple feet from the end of the beam. It was terrifying. She actually hit her head more than once. So every time now, when I see her foot placement on the dismount I let my breath go into a sigh of relief.

Syd. You are giving it away on your leaps. Both on floor and beam. Make sure they are 180 and controlled. I love love love watching you and think you are amazing. Your tumbling is spectacular, but don’t forget the dance. Much love from CO.

i think her coaches would tell her if her leaps werent high enough and her coaches make up her routines so ofc they have enough dance in them plus at her level its hard to get heaps and heaps of dance in because she has 4 tumbling passes and skills she needs to do all of this has to be done in one minute and thirty seconds.

she needs to get rid of that side aerial. all of her other skill have great form, which is extremely impressive considering where she was before FSG, but the side aerial is like the last lingering evidence of her old gym. even without the wobbles her legs are way too close together in the air making it look bad. her legs are barely more than 90 degrees apart when you'd want them close to or at 180.

@@Oceanbreezen I don't think she is injured, I know recently she had surgery due to kidney problems and she has been training, Mabey she is gunning for world's or ncaa
