Luckily for me i only live 2 fields away so The Farmers Dog pub is my local , Went Thursday for the soft opening "Great night" also called in Friday,Satuday,Sunday,and the Monday for a few pints or 6 lol
this will be a great pub for the area also will be a big plus for all the local farmers who supply with local produce ,
What was the previous pub like ? Curious 😅
@buttsyburnbob Its had more or less same layout inside the Pub and the decking was over half the size and garden was underused, Food wise was it varied from different owners . Some good some bad , But what Jeremy Clarkson and team have just is 100 % for the good . More full-time jobs attracting more to the area to sample a small part of the cotswolds.

Its been a long time coming, When i was younger, i used to do as much of my shopping as possible at the farms. Was much better way of life.

Well when I saw it was a review of Jeremy's new pub Ijust had to click on this new channel that i've never heard of.. Haha. And I loved the review from start to finish. So glad it was as good as I hoped it might be.... If only I wasn't retired and living in spain then I would go... BUT... I suspect that there may be a visit to Blighty on the horizon... And then I can take in both James' and Jeremy's pubs.
The sound of that lamb kebab was fabulous.... They look as though they know what they are doing those guys... I wonder if they ran out of food... or did they anticipate the mental number of people that were there.

I was there on friday myself at the Farmers Dog with a pal who is based at RAF Brize Norton, got to meet all the Diddly squat gang and great to see the Grand Tours tent being put to good use, I was there at 7.05 am

I’d recommend hitting Cambridge! Loads of good spots around. Low end and high end. I’d say The Oak Bistro is one to go to, amazing food and wine!

4 days in India including travel seems like a waste of time. I had nearly 3 weeks there and it was brilliant...but more time would have been a bonus. That said l hope you have a great time.

Food looks delicious. You need to go to Mathew's Chippy in Grimsby. The husband and wife team sell a delicious looking portion of fish n' chips with mushy peas for three pounds. They do all the work themselves so they can provide the community with a good meal at reasonable prices. They make no profit whatsoever.

I'm not as enamoured by Clarkson as you two appear to be, but I admire the scale of that place, and they appear to be printing money all day long. The welsh beer reviewer went a week later and there were still hours of queueing going on. Looks like the whole place might get paid for in the first year at this rate.
