AXIS Camera Station Pro - version 6 new user feature

AXIS Camera station Pro is a new version and builds upon the functionality provided in AXIS Camera Station 5 but also introduces new features and ability to connect to cloud services.
Included with AXIS Camera Station Pro is the ability to connect to your server using a web browser on a PC or MAC computer.
The AXIS Camera Station Pro web client is a simplified client and enables you to view live, recorded and export video from an internet browser on your local network without the need for an external internet connection. You can also control PTZ camera and make live announcements to speakers.
The most exciting element introduced into AXIS Camera Station Pro is the optional cloud services.
In order to use the cloud services you connect your server to an organisation. Please take a look at the manual for more information.
The cloud services give you access to not only video, but server health monitoring where you can observe the status of your server and also information related to your recordings such as the retention time. Within Devices you can view the status of your devices. You will also be informed if there is a new version of firmware available and remotely update it. Within Licences you can observe the status and manage the license for your systems. Finally you have the ability to invite other cloud users and define their roles.
A new feature included within AXIS Camera Station Pro is the Axis Data insight dash board.
The Dashboard currently presents counting data generated from counting scenarios configured with the AXIS Object Analytics Application that is installed on your Axis camera.
The data provided from the AXIS Data insight dash-board can be useful in understanding the movement of vehicles and people within your site. This information can then be used to help understand trends, and even help you improve efficiency. A major benefit is that you can obtain these insights from your existing surveillance cameras.
Finally within the Access control we have added two new features that can be applied to doors.
The two person rule which requires two valid sets of credentials to be presented to the door in order to open it. This is ideal for areas where you want to apply a restriction of having to have two people present for either security or health and safety reasons. You can also apply a schedule so the rule may only be applicable out of hours or at the weekend. The double swipe functions allows a card holder to toggle the door status. A card holder can present their credentials twice and the door will unlock if locked or lock if unlocked. This is an efficient way of controlling the door with using the software.
