Awesome video friend !
Thanks for the idea of driving from Geneva to Chamonix. I'm definitely doing it in February! How cold does it get over there? You look comfortable in the wintry outdoors 😅
Beautiful exploring 👌 hi I am Shelley from India 🇮🇳 West Bengal Kolkata 🇮🇳. Waiting for the next update exploring.
Objectif piste noire pour l'année 2024 qui arrive, j'ai hâte de découvrir Chamonix !!!
One day, this guy from a full tropical country, will see all of this stunning whiteness.
For your driving route, did you use your toll pass? We really want to get a rental car for a day but don’t want to have to purchase the toll pass at 40 CHF. Thank you! The baby sounds adorable 🥰
I've taken this visit yesterday (up to Aiguille du Midi) if you do not mind being jammed packed into a cable car like sardines you will love the ride up to the top - and again back down. My only complaint: the extreme excessive overcrowding! I have just gotten over a nasty illness 2 weeks earlier which had made this cable car ride very unnerving. The visit at the top was absolutely amazing! But way too many people packed into a plexiglass container with very little ventilation, not very pleasant 🤢
While in Chamonix, we’re considering trying Courmayeur, thoughts?
What a great video!! Last time we were in Chamonix we arrived by train from Martigny, a ride with fantastic views! We are in Lausanne now and planning to visit Chamonix again, your video got here just in time, haha. Do you know if the aerial tram from Aiguille du Midi to Pointe Helbronner is operating? It looks like an amazing ride on videos. Maybe we'll see you at the Prix de Lausanne! 🙂
OK, so I can answer my own questions now. But first a _MAJOR_ item for any tourist going to the Aiguille du Midi, esp. during high season: be prepared that you will get *stuck* on top, potentially _for hours_ if there are many people there. The reason is the aerial tram to the Aiguille is an old-style two-cabins-on-the-rope system which, even when packed to capacity (as they normally are) can hardly serve the traffic going back down. So if you are planning a meeting in the valley or have a restaurant reserved for a certain hour - _forget it, sweetie pie!_ Waiting times to go down can reach something like 3 hours during high season (read more e.g. on Yelp). The obvious solution to it would be for the operators of the cableway to scrap it and replace it with a modern gondola-type system, like the new Doppelmayr system between Grindelwald and Eigergletscher. It runs _many_ very _large_ cabins along the entire length of the cables, one after another, continuously, so the capacity is much greater. But I'm not holding my breath, it's France after all 🙂As for the Pointe Helbronner tram: it mercifully does not operate in winter (you'd pretty much freeze to death riding it).

This is great, I am planning to visit Chamonix in 2 weeks time. Are the red and blacks hard compare to Zermatt’ run 1 and run 2?
We felt that the reds were relatively similar to the blues in the Chamonix area! The blacks we think are actually a bit harder than the routes in Zermatt
@@TheTravelingSwiss thx so much. So the reds in Chamonix are harder, what about comparing to Tinges? Many thx, it would really help me decide.
Thx so much!!!!
You could have skied down to the bottom of brevent unless the trail was closed.
Is there a snow on end of February ? I want to ski
Is this a good place for beginners ? and good timing at the end of Feb ? We]'ve never been and want to try.
Plenty of blue and green slopes here! One of the skiers in our party was a beginner and had lots of options
What is the charge's of car parking and the ride charges up to the mountain with gandola
Hello! What month was this? Looks amazing with the sun out!
January!
Is there a ski loop for bigginner?
Is the 76£ the train ride to glacier?
Can i a ski there at last of April?
