2021 in Poland - nothing happens. Like there was still 19th century. Traditional classrooms, children in rows, teacher speaking, nobody listening ...

What a beautiful school. I would like to know how they have done in the 6 years since this was posted. Have their performance scores grown? How do they compare to other schools in the area?

This is astonishing. Here in Mexico, not all of us have the opportunity to access this kind of buildings. Education is very centralized or even privileged. The building in this video can be seen in top money schools or colleges, but not in the rural or the remote areas of the center of the country, where poverty is a general factor. After watching how children think about the design of this school, I think we can make a change in my country's school.

Many good examples about school architecture and how it can support communication, creativity, collaboration and conception.

What does this cost? I would love to see a school like this in my district. I've always been a project-based student-driven facilitator of learning, yet felt limited by my small environment, always looking for outings and ways to extend my small classrooms...Are the opportunities for writing grants for pioneering on of these in Wichita, Kansas?

Aren't all those windows and seeing everywhere distracting for the students and teachers?

Es muy importante que los arquitectos apoyen a la educación, haciendo estructuras acordes con la tecnología educativa moderna; haciéndolo mas atractivos los lugares donde aprenden los niños.

Sadly, in my country no public schools look like this. And I'm talking about a country with 20 milion people.

Are there not any security or safety concerns? There's no way for a class to hide from a shooter because there are no doors to the classrooms.

Alyssa Harris: They place lockdown & security devices in halls with lockable doors and on entry doors to block out any dangers before they reach the students which delays time for the intruder which in return gives law enforcement enough time to arrive

The bad guys win if you have to live your life hiding in a box.
Besides... growing up in an invironment like this, we would probably be creating healthier minds (fewer bad guys) in the first place.

Just because it's different doesn't mean it's better. I think it's awful. Too much wasted space. Place some plastic seaweed in that awful fish bowl.

The first step to make kids pay attention in school is by making the school attractive, there's a reason why kids read harry potter and not physically or biology books in their free time, this is a great idea to make kids want to actually learn
