People saying that they're worried for the cop about his job with this video being up, that's not how it works. Almost every traffic stop (instead of something like e felony stop) is officer discretion. Which means the cop makes his own judgment calls and is completely supported by pretty much every department. Him not giving him a ticket was his choice and he is allowed to do that.
Thanks for posting a positive video about a police encounter. Cops that actually care about the job they are doing, and the people they work for, don't get enough recognition.

When asked why i was speeding i told the cop that my ex wife married a cop and when i looked in my mirror i thought he was bringing her back to me 😂... I had a good buzz going and before she could speak I was like “seriously my boys got me a stripper for my birthday”!! She politely said she was a real police officer and went on to ask if I knew if the people across the street had moved out. I couldn’t resist inviting her to come back after she got off work but she respectfully declined. Looking back I made an ass of myself but it was my birthday so guess I got a pass!!!

Listen, I've been caught twice without driving with a license. I lost it due to child support and I live in a very rural area where there is no work. Both times I was pulled over by the same officer and was asked the 2nd time why I was driving. I explained to him that I was out looking for work which I honestly was doing(I'm now employed) and both times he didn't impound the vehicle. He did write me a ticket the 2nd time but he didn't impound my car. He let me explain my situation and I was polite and respectful. Shook his hand and we were both calm the entire time. He COULD have taken me to jail. Both times but he didn't because(I think) of me being respectful. I'm trying to get my life together now. I'm paying my child support, I've since got joint custody of my kid and he pulled into my driveway the other day just to say hello and see how things were going when I was cutting my grass. Not all cops are dicks. If you're polite, respectful, and talk to them like a human being 99% of the time things are going to be ok. They have a job to do just like everyone else and both times I respected him doing his job. I even told him if he ended up taking me in that I would understand because I was breaking the law and he had a job to do(I've never been to jail knock on wood). Moral of the story just be respectful. Don't try and be a dick thinking you know more then them. There's no reason to be an asshole.

I was 18 years old on my 2008 zx6r. I was going to a community college about 45 minutes from my house. It was about 6:30am and I was on I-40 doing about 120mph in a 65mph. Got pulled over by a sherif and thought for sure I was going to jail etc. the cop came up to me and said son why are you going so fast. I said I'm running a little late for school, it's cold this morning and starting to rain a little and just wanna get to where I'm going. He said how do you expect to get to school if you're dead? He said slow down and walked away. Never got his name but if there's any wake county sheriffs watching this video and remember pulling over a green 600 ninja at 6:30am just outside Raleigh a couple years ago Thank you
my brother was pulled over while riding his bike. he was barely going over the speed limit and my brother questioned it. The cop basically said, "you are going to be speeding at some point. I may as well give you the ticket now." I don't think my brother contested it ;) (this was many decades ago)

Theodore Bradshaw oh and by the way, I'm practically family to some of the ladies that work at the local 911 call center, I used to work with several of them when I was younger and there dad was a local cop before he passed and there mom was a 911 dispatcher like they are now before she passed, My old job also had me interacting with several of the cops that have been around for as long as i've been driving, if not longer, so there are guys that stick around here, but the 2 I mentioned in my previous post didn't stick around more then 6 months after they pulled me over and that is FACT, I don't know if they transferred somewhere else, I just know they where gone within 6 months, where other guys have been there 20 years, so clearly they where doing something wrong.

I guess most of the cops are depressed because of their job sooner or later so they start beeing a dick to everybody. I always try to be respectful and not to forget that they might have a shit day too but I guess it takes a bazooka in the trunk to be shot by a cop in my country (and even then it's more likely they'd just ask "what the fuck are you doing with a bazooka?" for a start) ;D
I was once running almost late for school and since I knew he got me fair and square with a radar gun I fessed up and he let me off with a warning, he said he really appreciated my honest and no BS answers. I don't really speed a whole lot which helped my record stay clean and that clean record also probably helped me out in avoiding a ticket.

Listen, I've been caught twice without driving with a license. I lost it due to child support and I live in a very rural area where there is no work. Both times I was pulled over by the same officer and was asked the 2nd time why I was driving. I explained to him that I was out looking for work which I honestly was doing(I'm now employed) and both times he didn't impound the vehicle. He did write me a ticket the 2nd time but he didn't impound my car. He let me explain my situation and I was polite and respectful. Shook his hand and we were both calm the entire time. He COULD have taken me to jail. Both times but he didn't because(I think) of me being respectful. I'm trying to get my life together now. I'm paying my child support, I've since got joint custody of my kid and he pulled into my driveway the other day just to say hello and see how things were going when I was cutting my grass. Not all cops are dicks. If you're polite, respectful, and talk to them like a human being 99% of the time things are going to be ok. They have a job to do just like everyone else and both times I respected him doing his job. I even told him if he ended up taking me in that I would understand because I was breaking the law and he had a job to do(I've never been to jail knock on wood). Moral of the story just be respectful. Don't try and be a dick thinking you know more then them. There's no reason to be an asshole.

I said I'm running a little late for school, it's cold this morning and starting to rain a little and just wanna get to where I'm going. He said how do you expect to get to school if you're dead? I've experienced that being honest with cops usually always works out for your benefit.
I was once running almost late for school and since I knew he got me fair and square with a radar gun I fessed up and he let me off with a warning, he said he really appreciated my honest and no BS answers. I don't really speed a whole lot which helped my record stay clean and that clean record also probably helped me out in avoiding a ticket.
