Don't get me wrong I am a KC native , born and raised and thus a natural born Royals/ Chiefs fan so believe me I understand being a decades long diehard fan of your team. But even when the Royals lost the WS in 2014 and the Chiefs lost the SB 3 years ago I was totally bummed out for a few days but I never thought of breaking anything ...especially not my TV.

I remember crying when Montana was blowing out Elway and my Broncos at halftime in the Super Bowl. I went into my room at halftime and cried so long and never watched the 2nd half. Gotta love sports and people can be sad but destroying property is just crazy.
At least it was a blowout so you didn't have your heart strings ripped out after an OT loss.
I feel the first guy standing outside. I didn’t watch the last four minutes of the game because I went outside to smoke and we started doing good then I went back in and we started doing bad, then it happened again so I just stood outside on the porch until it was over. I had to go off the yells of my dad and his neighbors across the street to know if something was happening and then lean in the door to check. Unlike Kyle though my superstition seemed to work lol

This is just so wild to me. I’m an Eagles fan. When the game ended on that holding call last year I just shut the TV off and went about my life. Thinking about it more though I might have been more emotional if we hadn’t won in 2017. I went 35 years of my life waiting for that. Turns out Dallas and SF keep getting reminded it’s hard to win with a salary cap in place and you can’t buy championship caliber teams. Having Brady, then Mahomes in the league as generational talents has been wild so far.
that 94 team was pretty much why they instituted the salary cap. Otherwise it'd have just been niners and Cowboys every other year

As a Chiefs fan this is fun to watch but I do feel bad for these fans. We have been through the exact same thing in SB55. We put so much into our fandom that it feels real and in a lot of cases it is real. 49er fans have nothing to hang their heads about. I thought last year’s SB was close, this one was waaaayyy closer. 9ers had a stacked roster but essentially a first full year QB. Nothing to be ashamed of.
