Its not about that, its about Jesus. Its not even about you in any way, changing who you are, being who you are, its not about you, its about Jesus. And Jesus knows how life should be lived, because he created us to live that way. So, because Jesus is so great, because Jesus knows best, that is why we change.

Jesus died to give us a pathway FROM our sin. And Jesus is God, The Son of The Holy Trinity, which means he never committed or will commit any sin, EVER. Christ is the opposite of sin, and sin is a lack of God, not of His Creation.
Says who? You? Did Abraham commit sin? Did Solomon commit sin? No prophet of god commited sin. Jesus never claimed to be god. It is an accusation against jesus. Jesus worshipped god! Jesus claimed our lord is one and that we all including himself should only worship the one god! The idea was trinity, christmas, cross, is the teaching of the church and the pagans. One cannot be gay and a Christian. Saying "I'm a gay Christian" makes no sense because you can't claim to be a Christian and take God's word and cherry pick the parts you like and then discard the rest. If you don't believe God's word, or you only believe certain parts of God's word, it's the same as calling God a liar. How can anyone call themselves a Christian if they think God lied in His word???

But, could one be gay and not act upon it and be Christian. Everyone's repressing sin weather its addiction, lust, gluttony, pride. Otherwise none of us would would be eligible to receive God's grace.
@@Clemo86think the problem would be when you're a gay man trying to be a Christian and still hang on to and live in that sin. That's self contradictory. But we are to remember that homosexuality is a sin that some genuine Christians who are seeking God may have battled with but they understand that it's bad and they need to repent. This is what it means to live for God, flee from sin and keep his commandments.

What makes someone gay? The sin. Not acting, having the thoughts are the same. Jesus says heart is wicked. So even you keep the thoughts and feelings, you're a sinner and you don't have the Word of God in you.

You can struggle with same sex attractions as a Christian, just like having cravings for nicotine, but a true Christian with the help of our Lord will resist these temptations and keep their garments clean. Jesus is coming for a pure bride yall! Fight the good fight of faith He will strengthen you to overcome!
That's a contradictory statement. You say, "A christian can struggle with sin." and then go on to say, "But a "true" christian will resist these temptations." What does it take for one to inherit eternal life? To me, from my study of the scripture, it is not our ability to overcome sin in life. Our salvation is dependent solely upon our faith in Christ, and what He did. It grieves me that many unbelievers are turned away from having faith by over-complication of faith in Christ.

If the question is whether or not one can live that lifestyle and be a "Christian" the answer is no. You can repent and be fighting your flesh, but we can't give in to our flesh as a lifestyle and think that Jesus is okay with it...

Lord, in this month our hearts are heavy for those who identify as LGBT. Your Word is clear about both sin and salvation - and our own consciences testify to this truth - yet so many live with the hope that they will find their “true self” or even their worldly salvation in a broken identity.
So this month, we lift up this challenging issue before you.
For those within the walls of the church who may claim the identity of LGBT, we pray for the work of your Holy Spirit and of the Church to call those in sin to repentance.
For those Christians who continue to struggle in this area, and yet who choose faithfulness to your Word, we pray for great faith and encouragement.
For those who are uncertain about their fearfully and wonderfully made bodies, we pray for peace and confidence that you did not make a mistake - that they were not born in the wrong body.
For children who are hearing messages that make them question their own sexuality, we pray for protection over their minds and hearts.
For all those who identify as LGBT, or who are struggling with their sexual identity in another way, we pray that they would find the joy and freedom that only comes from following you as Lord. We pray that their hearts would be opened to see sin for what it is - and to see the joy of your salvation as greater.
For those in ministry to our LGBT neighbors, we pray for the strength to speak the truth in love - and more than anything, to make your Gospel known in the words they say and in the way they live.
For those of us with LGBT friends and family, we pray for great love and great discernment.
For each of us, we pray the hard prayer for conviction of our own sin and for freedom in repentance. We pray that our first priority - in our own hearts and in our conversations - would always be the magnification of Christ. We pray that our identities would not be rooted first in our work, our sexuality, or even our families, but that we could say as Paul that for us, to live is Christ. May our identity, our security, our salvation be ever fixed to you - and may that be first in our hearts and in our words.
Lord, this month we pray that as we speak the truth, the manner in which we speak it would be such that we are known by our love.

Pastor David certainly bamboozles people at times 😅. I loved the way the guy at the end had to accept the sticker, mouth wide open and speechless. But David does it all in love. My mom's uncle was gay he was married to a man she loved him, but she did not love is sin She did not think her sin was any greater than his. He was dying of AIDS and he reached out to my dad that he has not known very well because of his past he went through a very rough childhood of not knowing god and being abused and he was saved by God when he was 18 felt the holy Spirit. He said he was afraid of going to hell and that he knew what he was doing was wrong all along. My dad said repent of your sins and have that man baptize you in Jesus name and have nothing more to do with that man. And he did exactly that now did my dad tell him that because he hated him no because he loved him he showed him God's word which is true love

God has truly blessed us and Blessed David. God has shaped David into a Very Humble and patient man of God. Truthfully I was fighting irritation when David was having to be ever so humble and patient with those individuals. I ask God to implant patience and humbleness in me to so I be like Jesus.
