When detangling it I do get a nice amount of hair but I'm use to curly hair shedding. It just seems like it's a little more with this hair bc of the deep wave pattern. Camay Rum I would say Maxine is better in construction. This hair is really pretty but it sheds more when being detangled than the Maxine Hair. It's not crazy but it does shed.
