Similar to the blenders we had at GSK in Crawley.
In our Worthing plant we had massive scroll blenders - Stainless steel enclosed vessel with an internal scroll

Always make sure the lid is secure! We had to use a cable tie. Although a very good system, I've worked with them for 3 yrs, there is a design flaw. Along the base of the IBC where the forks of the forklift go, the inside strut can buckle and catch on the blenders circular base causing the IBC to tilt alarmingly to the point of falling over. I never had one do that but it did seem a distinct possibility. We hammered out the buckle and problem solved. It reappeared some months later on another IBC so we had periodic checks on all IBC's.
