- After two and half years we thought it was time to do another detailed boat tour of our home, MV Kariwa. Kariwa is a Nordhavn 62, the classic and iconic passage maker!

Loved the tour of Kariwa. Such a clean and well-maintained boat. I like the design of the hull. Seems more like a good seafaring boat.

Love this trawler! Just so so nice inside. The woodwork reminds me of a Passport sailboat made in Taiwan. Top of the line.

The fridge -freezer looks like the same one in the salon of "first 40", N - 40 that was on the market a year or so ago. Beautiful couple, beautiful boat. Cheers.

Super nice Nordhavn! -- QUESTION -- This video seems to be too small for the screen. Not sure why but the aspect ratio or somthing is off. The other videos are perfect..
I think we had some video issues, sorry.
You all have a truly great vessel, looks great inside and outside, and add the great systems you have and you have the same as just about a new ship. You ship has class , doesn't take but a few minutes to see that. And i can she gets her class and beauty from the crew who owns her . Great video from both of her shipmates.

We are both from Rhodesia.. aka Zimbabwe. The Admiral also lived in SA for a number of years. I knew a Bobby Rudolph at Allan Wilson, don't suppose you are related;)

Love watching the videos Nordhavn owners put up showing their travels and how they update their vessels. A great vessel you have there. Often wonder if Nordhavn should have evolved the 62 and 57's sleeker lines, like Audi would a car through generation-facelift-next generation, and not gone to the more upright look of the boats that proceeded the length of boat they sat in. Love the hull colour also as I think there are too many white, off white hulls in general on boats when I see them.
Could not agree more with your comments. Nordhavn sell boats and I think they sacrificed the traditional boat design for the wedding cake. Also the hull shape underwater was compromised for space and to satisfy those who wanted internal luxury at the expense of sea keeping.

There is no freezer in the pilot house. It was removed. We do have a fridge up there though

with the bottom of the hull seperated by nothing more than a wooden hatch do you ever get any funny smells or humidity coming up from the bottom of the boat?
No we have not had any issues like this.
