    Hi! :-D
    Just want to tell you what a great job you're doing. A friend of mine is an almost fully certified NG trainer and trainer-teacher, but i learned more in 1 focused hr with you (i watched part 2, too) than in 2 years of odd sessions with her. Thank you so much for that!

      I am grateful for your kind compliments. I teach NG with a bend towards mental wellness because of my training as a Counsellor who uses Art as a tool. I am glad that you were able to get so much from this class, and am able to see pass the abysmal sound quality in this video (there is a cleaned up version available).

    Thank you so much for this video. It was super helpful to me to learn some of the basics, and general guidelines. A very thorough way of going over things, and I loved how your four colors sometimes blended to make other colors. VERY lovely! I truly enjoyed it all. So glad I found this. Have a great day, Paula

    Dam..........I'm 60 yrs old. I did this when I could hold crayons. Couldn't always have new coloring books, so we DOODLED and colored it in.
    They make a 'profession' out of anything.

      While I cannot claim that I am near your age, I know exactly what you mean. This is just the basics, there is more to the methodology than just drawing lines, shapes, and roundings.

      @@neuroartworkshop well, what are they? because you never go into anything more like the what they lines are doing, what you're supposed to be thinking about, why circles are drawn, why corners are rounded etc

      You can. Just get the Neurographica Specialist certification or the Instructor's certification. The difference being with the Instructor's certification you can openly use the term "Neurographica(TM)", its a 9 month diploma program, and it costs around USD7k (at the time of this posting). With the Specialist, you can use it as a coaching tool, teach others to use it, but you cannot use the term "Neurographica(TM)" or "Neurographic Art" for any marketing materials; and it costs only a fraction of the Instructor's program.

    I really appreciate your explanations, teaching style, and demonstrations. Thank you!
    The only drawback I have is the sound. Something is rubbing on your microphone. Unfortunately for me, it is very distracting.

      Its actually wind sound. It was my first youtube video and I did not know how to control the wind noise properly. At that point, it was either that or seeing beads of sweat running down my face and forehead. I actually do have an updated video with the noise removed. Unfortunately, I unable to update that video on this.

      @@neuroartworkshop Thank you for your explanation. After watching your video on dissolving negative emotions, I worked on one this weekend. I do not understand the use of the word " algorithm " or "release," but I did feel calmer after I finished my piece. I found things that surprised me! Thank you again for your explanation and demo. I will continue watching your videos.

    At about 13:00 in video you say beginners often make the mistake of drawing lines with sharp corners. If this is where their mind is at, how can it be a mistake? I haven’t heard anyone explain how it’s supposed to be done other than just putting pen tp paper and allowing lines to flow. Can you explain the mistake u mention?

    • @neuroartworkshop
      @neuroartworkshop  3 роки тому +3

      Hello. Again, I went to the 13:00 mark, and I did not see what you were saying, so I am not sure what you were referring to here. But, in reference to your question about beginner mistakes with sharp corner/s in the Neurolines; it is usually the case where you start drawing a wavy line, and you go oops I think I have a repeating pattern, need to change it. Your hand jerks in reaction to that thought and you have sharp turn on the line resulting in a pointy tip on the line.
      To your second question, you are supposed to let your mind flow when you are drawing a Neurographic Line (Neuroline). It is one of the therapeutic properties of Neurographica. Have a mental block of some kind ? Pull out some paper and marker, and just go to town drawing Neurolines randomly and rounding as you go, put circles where it pleases you, or any other shapes. As you are doing it, your thoughts will flow, and it will jump from one to the next, and to another, and to another, etc. And after sometime, you may come to your own conclusion about whatever that may be bothering you. That is the magic within Neurographica.

    Im learning much from your videos and this helpful/effective practice! Thank you!! Do you think it would be ok to give the finished piece away as a gift? Or should this just be used for personal growth/benefits?

    • @neuroartworkshop
      @neuroartworkshop  2 роки тому +3

      Your completed pieces of artwork are your own original pieces of artwork. You can do whatever you want with them, because they are YOUR WORK. Having said that, there will be some people who can see the emotions behind your artwork (very small percentage of the population).

      I am on FB but only reserved for personal friends only; BUT the FB group is open to all "genuine" person. Why is say for "genuine" person, because I do receive requests from FAKE people (ie. potential scammers with faked FB accounts or using compromised accounts) to join the group and I do reject their request/s. At 3:00 when you added the line to connect the two lines it appears to me u created the sharp corners you said beginners make the mistake of creating. I’m so confused. I really am interested in this concept but haven’t found a video where it’s explained clearly to me and the meanings behind the steps

      the meaning of shapes are explained in another video - Metaphor of Shapes. This video just explains the basics of creating Neurographic Art, with no Algorithms involved. When you involve algorithms, that is when the meaning of everything you are drawing counts. Otherwise, its just Neuroart.

      Thank you for your comment, and I really do apologize for it. Unfortunately, the situation at that time of the recording was that I did not have the tools I do now for removing the noise. And, youtube does not allow me to update a video that was already up without totally removing the video and reuploading a new one. So, I decided to let it stay as it is; because I felt like the information in the video was more important than the noise in it.

      @@CobraDove1111 Separate the art making you do in any Art Therapy session from the present Therapist. What do you get? Is that still Art Therapy? If you think it still is, then consider every Artist, both professional and amateur, that is going about creating their artworks; is that still Art Therapy then? Art making can be therapeutic, but that does not make every art making session a therapy session. Just as writing journals, or making art journals, can be therapeutic; but that does not make it therapy either.
