I bought Xperia play as my first smartphone and wow I really love it. The controller feels good to control and slick design. I really thirst for more of Xperia Play. Plz make it happen

I tried this phone, running Asphalt 5 and I must say I am really in love with the smoothness of the game.
Idk if this acc. Is still alive but I just wanted to say to Sony that I wish they could make a newer version of this Xperia play :)

MWC 2015 is in 2 days, i would go through the trouble of returning my xperia z3 to get my hands on a Xperia Z4 Play!
@Blazblue808 the phone the models are playing with isn't in working condition. It is just the body of the phone with the screen painted green. Whenever you see a commercial advertising a TV or a phone, the screen isn't actually there, it is always added in later with editing. It is IMPOSSIBLE to tell how a phone works from a commercial like this.

I used the phone for a few months and I liked it. For a gamer is a really good phone. Since there are so many games right now available for it and more coming out I'd say this phone is a good choice. If possible to you try finding the nearest Sony Mobile store to you and play with the phone to see if it is what you are looking for. -Josh

@xXkawaiiEmoXx If you're planning on getting NGP or 3DS there's no need for a gaming phone like the Xperia. Otherwise, it doesn't really matter. If gaming is really important to you I would get something with buttons. An Iphone just won't cut it in that aspect.

I can't really say since I haven't seen any HD game on the iPhone 4S. I could say is easier to play though on the Play since it has the Game pad. -Josh

Also Software updates can be done auto, due to the 3G, wont wash away all the library, that will continue to expand, and improve, we would be able to play a game from 2011 in 2030, in the phone of that year, with changes.
Well, that is the greatest change in this phone, the unlimited database of games... possibilities are limitless.

I am definetly getting this phone. It just got released in Lithuania! I have always dreamed of this phone and I may buy it just need approx 150 more euros (If you can change the price, I need approx 400LT. Lithuanian money. Does the Xperia Play really lag so much? I've watched a few reviews because I'm thinking of getting this phone but I've heard that it messes up a few months after and gets slower. Is that for thier model or is it for the phone in general?

For some reason, the guy is playing on the keys, yet he has touch controls on the screen...
So he can play both on touchscreen & keys?
That's pretty smart and stupid at the same time, because when you have an actual keys you don't need these touch controls.
I hope you'll be able to disable that...

Heard the verizon xperia play comes with VANILLA android. Yep no timescape or anything like that. The reason is because the xperia play was running as a nexus candidate.

Now, they created the ultimate database of titles, we can expect, that for now, we have just 50 titles, but, soon, we would have all the PS1, PS2 and PSP games, from an Android emulator, and all the titles, from nintendo, before DS, and who knows? perhaps, in future, also, DS games too, and the best part, is that, no mather if SE improves or any other company improves the device, every single upgrade or update.

When you guys make an Xperia Play 2, can you please add dual analog nubs instead of the touchpads. Gamers hate having to use touch pads to control movement and aim. We want our fingers to interact with analog nubs, not touchpads.
Also, put a quad core A9 cpu + a SGX543MP4 gpu + 960x540 screen in it and make it able to play most of the digitial games released on the NGP. If you get Uncharted NGP, Killzone NGP and LBP NGP backwards compatible with the Xperia Play 2, then it will be a huge hit.
