@@faidou9954 some of them are decent... at least, that' s what I have been told :v I' ve bought two of them to see how they are, I have not played them yet though
7:08 one of my favorites ff games ( I played it on the ps4 though) Maaan the psvita was full of Hyperdimension Neptunia garbage, and these are only the turnbased one, there are tons of Spin off of the series for the console.... and it' s full of Atelier games too, but Atelier is good :v
There are definitely a lot of them on this platform. I am always impressed by the music woven into these games, obviously some much better than others. Mei Q Labyrinth of Death had a really good tough metal sound to start off the track in this video. I am looking for more of that but not surprised I don't hear it that much. I guess the question should be asked, how good in reality are these JRPGs in comparison to other systems and generations? I'm not a good judge of that since I have played virtually no Vita titles but many of these do look fun. These lists including added music really seem like they would take some time to put together, especially this one.
Ok Full Disclosure I forgot about the Vita :( lol. Some darn amazing games for this may have to pick up one on the cheap sometime. Thank you as always Erick
Unless the form factor is really important to you, I wouldn't. the Vita's library was ported to PC/PS4/switch and so you can get the Vita library plus more by skipping it.(besides the price and marketing, that's what doomed the system)
I picked one up for 30$ and bought an Sd2vita for like 8$ plus a 64GB sd card and put alot of games on it including persona 4 golden plus some psp and ps1 games
@@ericp631 there are still some PSVita games from all genres that haven't been ported over to other platforms yet, so it's still worth getting one for now plus, those that DID end up on other platforms are often on sale on PSN, so getting them on Vita is the better option unless they're on sale on those other platforms too, usually still a little more expansive there
@@martinde-serres8724 psn isn't exclusive to the Vita, and all platforms offer discounts/sales so yes you can often get those games at the same or better price on other platforms. Vita has some great and/or fun exclusive jrpgs. Persona 4 Golden, Mary Skelter Nightmares (not exclusive anymore), Neptunia vs Sega Hard Girls.. Two are missing: Lost Dimension and Hyperdevotion Noire (the Neptunia SRPG I really enjoyed)
The atelier series has sub serieses (every 3 games are their own mini series) so you can start with any series you want but you shouldn't start from the middle of a mini series (hope that is not confusing)
What final fantasy RPG version? that you hack and slash around, when the meter is full (something) you can use your special power... Sorry my English 😔
Definitely agree. So many modern jrpg's are really a heap of mediocrity. Cheap looking and super derivative. No real exploration, no good stories, and no compelling characters. The Vita seems especially dominated by crap jrpg's. The PSP was a better buy for he genre.
Saving you a click: it's Persona 4, games not originally released on vita like Final Fantasy X/X-2 and Romancing Saga, and a bunch of degenerate anime trash.
Kemco RPGs include:
-Revenant Saga
-Revenant Dogma
-Asdivine Hearts
-Asdivine Hearts 2
-Asdivine Dios
-Asdivine Menace
-Antiquia Lost
-Dragon Sinker
-Mystic Chronicles
-Alvastia Chronicles
-Illusion of L'Phalcia
I lost count after that one.
They sure are a lot
That's a lot of mediocrity.

Holy Crap.
@TheOutkast4ever 2:48
I still say the PS 1 and 2 era had higher quality JRPGs.
Thank you so much for this list! I still play my Vita regularly so this gives me new games to play
How many god-damned atelier games are there?

Yeah, all of them took a long-ass time to pull together, but totally worth it, especially for posterity purposes.
2:56 didn't know that Time and Eternity had a spiritiual successor
Are any of the kemco games good? I see them on the psn for cheap sometimes. I mean they look straight outta the ps1 era which I love
A couple of them are very good and most of them are mediocre to crappy.
There are a lot that are extremely good but it outweighs all of the crap that comes from them.
sorry, just really curious about those romancing saga series u had in there: i never heard those remix soundtrack. where it came from, if i may?
Loving the turn based lists!

@@mohammedshokor2798 appreciate the knowledge if we can find one for 45 to 50$ an under we will get one.
could you denote which are physical and which are not on the next few lists? thank you for your hard work!
You should list the titles in the description that’s in the video
Its funny how some names does not make any sense, Thanks for the video, great work
Erick.. if you did a video of all you considerate a masterpiece.. could be awsome dude!!!
love the Vita, its like a better psp
Does anyone know what that deleted video was. On the top 10 Jrpg platform playlist and does anyone know why it was deleted
Que tal um vídeo sobre jogos com Character Creation do VITA?
They should bring Tales of Hearts R to other platforms like P4 Golden.
Not with that bad translation.
Ive been waiting for strangers of sword city revisited to go on sale... ARRRGHFHF
Ghaleon yeah, me also!
Nice channel i sub
Is the English version of romancing saga for vita only digital?
You missed child of light. Beautiful game check it out. Pretty short too
Vita has some great and/or fun exclusive jrpgs. Persona 4 Golden, Mary Skelter Nightmares (not exclusive anymore), Neptunia vs Sega Hard Girls..
Two are missing: Lost Dimension and Hyperdevotion Noire (the Neptunia SRPG I really enjoyed)
Those 2 are tactical RPGs, they will be on that particular list soon.
Best quote from Hyperdevotion Noire: "ONE SMALL STEP FOR NEP!"
Which Atelier game do you think is the best for a newcomer?
The atelier series has sub serieses (every 3 games are their own mini series) so you can start with any series you want but you shouldn't start from the middle of a mini series (hope that is not confusing)
Does every game studio use the same avatar generator for their characters??
How about a list of action based JRPGs?
I'll be doing turn-based, strategy and action of most relevant consoles :)
Alisa on the clickbait got me, damn it.
Dungeon Travelers 2 is a pretty good dungeon crawler!
Great list but I think that the Vita was crammed full of really lackluster jrpg's.
Thank you! Waiting for xbox360 list :)
Lost odyssey, there ya go
Now I know where to play Atelier games jaja
What final fantasy RPG version? that you hack and slash around, when the meter is full (something) you can use your special power... Sorry my English 😔
You mean dissidia?
atelier firis, sophie, and ray gigant are the only ones i did not play or own from this list.
What are Kemco games?
Where s Setsuna, cold steel and other? list is not complete)
The Vita version of Setsuna is exclusive to Japan. Watch the video again, I don't think I missed a single RPG or perhaps you'd like to enlighten me?
No Utawarerumono?
Well, God Wars and Natural Doctrine weren't here either. Maybe SRPGs are getting a separate vid.
They are tactical rpg not really turn based so it's normal they're not here
@@87Kirika ahh okay. Thanks!
persona?
Already In there.
Pretty comprehensive list. I think only Dungeon Travelers 2 is missing.
It isn't. It's right there.
No Kemco games but there are Atelier saga games. This is discrimination.
Its hard to believe that Kemco once made games other than RPGS like the Crazy Castle series.
Can't say I'm missing much by not owning a Vita.
Yeah not missing much, only the entire Vita, PSP, and PS1 catalogues, that's all.
RPGs sure are crap these days. What happened to world maps and towns you can explore?
Legend of Heroes and Tales of series still has that.
There are still many rpgs that have that but most have rpgs nowadays take a linear story driven approach
@@SuiteLifeofDioBrando Xillia doesn't have a world map.
