Pipe Bending Machine (Electro Mechanical)

This is our major project, Pipe Bending Machine :D , Electro Mechanical one, works with the help of a motor, which has lead screw rotational motion to rack linear motion mechanism. and which turns the rotary die which bends the pipe. and we have used 1HP motor of 1440RPM, bend angle is 2-180 Degrees

What is the material of this pipe? It looks like it's been chromed before bending. Is it chromed? If yes, did your machine damage the surface of a pipe?
