  • HEART STRINGS Heart Strings by Tenzin Choegyal
HEART STRINGS - A heartwarming rendition with Philip Glass & Tenzin Choegyal
Thousands of Tibetan exiled children now residing around the globe have received their education from this amazing institution. Here is a simple song with a big heart I wrote and sung with these beautiful kids from the TCV school.
Heart Strings - One of Tenzin’s much loved composition, was recorded with over 150 Tibetan children from Tibetan Children’s Village school in Dharamsala, India, Pokhara and the Kingdom of Mustang in Nepal. The Tibetan title Nying Thig translated as Heart Strings and the words of the song is simple, speaking from the heart - “my mind in the sky, while my body on this earth”. The children of Tibet join Tenzin in chorus “Om Ma Ni
Phad May Hum”, the mantra of compassion which often translates in short as “Jewel in the lotus.”
