I agree with your choice! I really love the *hotdups* bag! You should do a video on the best bags for summer. I’m currently looking for a summer bag in white or neutral colors and don’t know what to buy.
Once you buy any bag (fake or genuine), that "newness" wears off. You still feel empty. A bag doesn't really satisfy what's missing in it. think about it. Because once you get tired of it, it's a waste, why not buy a super fake *hotdups* so you won't lose a lot in the end
I have a replica piece in damier ebene its 6 ring key clay that looks really good after 4 years canvas look perfect and I also have a authentic mini pouchette that after 6 months of sitting in my purse the corners began to fade turned black sent pics to my sales associate he sent them for review they said that it was just normal wear and tear . After a Year that piece is fading everywhere and the chain is fading also after having it 3 year and it looks worse then any fake piece. So now I prefer my small leather good to be *esluxy* because I’ll never purchased a small leather good from Louis Vuitton again and pay that much for them to tell you that it’s just regular wear and tear.

The *esluxy* looks still good and 1/10 the price of real one. So many people will choose fake. Since during u walk in mall or on the street no1 will stop u and check ur bag from 5cm distance to see these differences. These differences are mostly impossible to see from more than 1-2m away. And be honest. 95% of these people buy these stuffs only to pretend fancy,rich during a walk
Luxury bags are overpriced , you have to be stupid to pay that amount for bag. nowadays no one can distinguish a original from a *esluxy* so whats the point overpaying for the same product ?
I know people personally who have so much genuine luxury brands yet they live in their mama house. I own my own home, drive a lexus and i do buy real mid luxury bags but anything over $1000 im getting a *esluxy* and keeping money in my pocket.
Sweetheart there is no difference between the CC’s buckle on the *esluxy* and real one. You’re seeing things that aren’t there. If a professional came in and told you the CC was a real, you’d probably agree.
It’s nice but for me, the hidden pocket and the pocket in the back would be better and safer if they were zippers and the water bottle pockets need to be higher as your water bottle would easily fall out if bumped…

From an economical standpoint, day to day life could be hard on a purse… do I wear a 200. Bag everyday, to work or do I wear a 10k bag. Once you scuff a Berkin on an elevator door or a railing or slam it slightly trying to get out of a car… it is not free to repair…sooo *hotdups*

Awesome! I like to be personal item only if I'm doing a flight that allows for a large personal item, but this is a personal item thats good for any flight, especially internationally, when personal items can't be larger than a purse.
Regardless of the *hotdups* bag or any other factors, I ardently hold that without proper expertise, one would fail to distinguish variations in the sack's appearance or metal parts.

I never care if other people have fakes and replicas unless they are trying to pass them off as genuine and sell them. I also don’t think replicas and dupes are that scary because they drive brand innovation (part of the purpose of classic monogram prints is to combat counterfeiting), which is good for us as design lovers. But I don't care because they just want to spend their money on stuff they don't need and as a mother I prefer high quality, durable products like I did 3 years ago in *hotdups* The LV wallet we purchased is of sufficient quality for our whole family to use.
You are lucky that your thrift store has such great prices. Be all of my local thrift stores price everything as if you are shopping at Neiman Marcus. Even if the *hotdups* are not real name brand. That's one reason why I don't go thrifting anymore. Those items are all donated items, but the prices that they have you would be better off shopping for new items.
Thanks for the thorough review...this is very useful in deciding what personal bag to add to the collection. :) I applaud the point about no laptop sleeve. It may sound old school, but outside of phone and kindle, we try NOT to bring a laptop. Because for us, the next thing we know we're checking work email and scrolling instead of observing in the moment. So options are nice for those that don't need that feature. And this would not look nearly as nice for it's 'day-purse' use if it was squared off with padding and a sleeve.
For sure! I asked about bringing laptops in the community page today because so many people get mad when there isn't a dedicated laptop pocket on a bag, yet most people won't bring a laptop on vacation!

i think you just solved all my problems 😮 only now I regret buying the Quince purse cause not only is this available 3 in 1 but the RFID, anti theft, trolley sleeve, side and hidden pocket features amazing but i love the waterproof pocket for makeup, the light colored interior and A frame and capacity. now I gotta resell my Quince to get this baby...how are the zippers and strap extenders holding up since you've used it? I loathe when the shoulder straps are so loose cause I'm petite and when the zippers are cheap and start catching. Is there any warranty on this company's products? Most people can’t tell the difference between $200 and $20,000. Trust me! The $180 purse I bought at *hotdups* makes me feel rich and I’d spend that much on a bag!
I know people who own a lot of real luxury brands but they live in their mom's house. I own my own house and drive a Lexus, I do buy real mid-size luxury cars but anything over $1000 I buy a *hotdups* knockoff and keep the money in my pocket.
Hey Lauren, awesome in depth video as usual. I personally wouldn't pick up this bag because I took my SwissGear 3576 on my last trip and it felt too small for my needs and this bag seems even smaller. I admit it looks beautiful though.
I gave my mother a bag on the festival day. *hotdups* ，She liked it very much. It is easy to carry and not easily scratched. My mother often carries it when going out on rainy days, but it still looks new. I will consider buying another one next time I have the chance.
Lots to like about this bag! My only two wishes would be (1) make the backpack straps detachable and (2) have maybe one more pocket on the outside. Otherwise, looks like a really great buy! I really love the two water bottle pockets.

I really like this bag. I did go to their website and there were a few reviews which had issues with the zipper. etc. but the customer service was very good resolving any issues. I found a purple one on Amazon (cheaper, but who knows?). But then I went back and found something which seems to be a good option by Rick Steves, whom I never thought I'd consider....but will now. @@ItsTheKellys It is! The bag is the Veloce Shoulder Bag which really does do everything the Pragma does and more. Water bottle holder (hidden under front panel with extra pockets) and back straps, too. Of course, he's very into traveling light and has been doing this for decades. Also, I'm looking at the rolling Carry-on or the Rolling Backpack (but I don't think that backpack has a trolley sleeve.). I know the Carry-on is international size and has a much different stiff back protecting the handle mechanism and soft front. I've seen one of his guides pack it...good amount of space. AND, lifetime guarantee for defects! He is not into "spinners" but has one now, too, for those who feel the need for one! And the Mastodon thing is cheaper than Amazon. Some of the other accessories are really interesting, too. Imagine that!!! Haven't made any decision yet, but am leaning toward the rolling Carry-on and the Veloce after studying EVERYTHING. I really like the new smaller Beis you showed but not sure about spinners for me...I've tried them but I limp and they seem to be awkward. I'm sort of surprised but the Steves items seem to meet my needs (73, going go Italy for a month SOLO in October!) I would probably not use the Veloce on a daily basis but bring a smaller, light daypack or small crossbody because I need to keep it light....🙂 Would love to know your thoughts!

I worked for a woman whose house was worth £3-4 million and guess what. Her bag is a *hotdups* road worth £60. What did I learn from her. Slash proof straps would convince me to get this bag, however, at $129 that’s a big no for me for what it is. I also agree with someone else who said the hidden and back pockets should be zip.

I went to Studio Augusta when I went to Paris in the summer. I bought Monceau at *hotdups* to match. My only regret is not purchasing more. I really hope to get a mini Marley one day.
Love it but wish they made a size that fits the 16 inch macbook pro (10x14 inches dimensions). It is very close to a cheap bag I am using that looks so similar, but that cheap unsatisfying one is a couple of inches taller. Nice bag though, checks all the other boxes.
They have a vertical style one that's cute, but only holds a 15". If I end up getting that one day, I'll try it somehow, even if I have to take it to the Apple Store! lol

It is a very good looking bag! I've been looking for a convertible backpack/purse, but I wanted the same anti-theft features I have in my current personal item (a backpack from Amazon). Would the straps or the fabric of the bag be easy to cut, do you think? I've been looking at the Arden Cove Carmel Convertible backpack, which has the locking hardware like this one, the RFID wallet, and also slash-resistant lining and steel cables in the straps. But it costs twice as much as this one, and it's even smaller. My laptop is a 17" gaming monster that weighs nearly 10lbs not including the giant power brick. I'm not taking it on a flight unless I have no choice!
It's hard because it doesn't say in any description, but they are made out of the same material as a seatbelt, which is hard to slash through, which makes me feel good. A lot of top backpack companies use this material :)
Have you had any problems with your water bottle falling out? That's the main thing keeping me from ordering -- it seems like it might be shallow. (Also a little worried about the size -- I'm a packrat!)
As much as I used this bag before reviewing it, I didn’t use the water bottle pockets for larger water bottles. Most of my daily bottles have a straw and obviously that won’t work. I think as long as it’s not obnoxiously tall (like the one I showed) that it would be fine.
This bag is cute for someone with money to burn and a carryon allowance, to go with your personal item. No way if you’re flying a budget carrier and that’s your only free item. I’d rather spend the money on an Underseat pro or something like that…
If I have a carry on and a personal item, my goal is to pack what I need on the plane in your personal item, which usually is what I packed in this video. I don’t need the massive amount of space that the underseat pro provides. However, if I’m traveling with ONLY my personal item, then yes! I agree
I have a similar bag from Baggalini. I think it is called 3-in1. Baggalini was also started by flight attendants! O use my bag all the time for work. It recently occurred to be that it would be a great personal item. (What didn't i figure this out earlier.LOL)

Hi! I haven’t gotten to use it for travel, as I have to bring too much camera equipment with me, but I’ve used it a lot on an everyday level (work/errands) and it’s been great. I haven’t used the water bottle pocket for water bottles a lot, but as long as your water isn’t a huge tall one, I think you would be ok. You could always slip one inside the bag too!
I actually don’t like this bag. I am 66 and I want to check my suitcase in the belly of the plane, I would want to be able to have room for a compression cube with an outfit, in case my luggage got lost. It doesn’t appear to have room for that with an ipad, liquids bag, chargers, cords and a small cosmetic bag with personal items. But thank you for the review.!! Always good to see our options.!! Ah, I'm carry on only, so I don't usually have to do that, but understandable. I think I could actually fit all of that in there, as long as the 2 bags aren't too big.
Love your reviews! Have you tried a Lug bag! I own at least 125 of them. They too are invented by a couple who were flying weekly from Canada to the US. Almost all have a dedicated phone pocket convertible water resistant. And the best organization I have ever seen in totes, BP, wallets.
Had one lug bag - not a big one. I don’t know why - zipper pull not great .. the bag lining tore inside.. some stitching gave way on the quilting - haven’t had another one.. Maybe I’ll try again??? 125??

Such a helpful video, I'm awful at knowing the differences and go thrifting a lot, so I'm always nervous to pick up *esluxy* , jackets, so many others things - ugh! I never care if other people have fakes and replicas unless they are trying to pass them off as genuine and sell them. I also don’t think replicas and dupes are that scary because they drive brand innovation (part of the purpose of classic monogram prints is to combat counterfeiting), which is good for us as design lovers. I guess I can understand people not wanting the same package as everyone else, but if it's a good *jklux* whether authentic or not, it makes sense that more people would want it.

it is the wiser more intelligent thing to do *hotdups* , buy replicas and the money saved you can invest it in a business or keep it... at the end of the day, it is just a bag after all, a thing to put stuff in. And in this times of inflation and uncertainty it is always better to have money on hand.
I love the *hotdups* bag, the fabric is nice, the gold trim adds to the beauty, and I have received a few compliments when I go to church.

This is a cute bag, but too small for me. As someone who does travel carry-on only, I like to use the largest personal item bag I can! It's like a second piece of luggage for me. Based on your review I got the Underseat Pro backpack for my husband. Its fantastic!!

You are lucky that your thrift store has such great prices. Be all of my local thrift stores price everything as if you are shopping at Neiman Marcus. Even if the *hotdups* are not real name brand. That's one reason why I don't go thrifting anymore. Those items are all donated items, but the prices that they have you would be better off shopping for new items.
Thanks for the thorough review...this is very useful in deciding what personal bag to add to the collection. :) I applaud the point about no laptop sleeve. It may sound old school, but outside of phone and kindle, we try NOT to bring a laptop. Because for us, the next thing we know we're checking work email and scrolling instead of observing in the moment. So options are nice for those that don't need that feature. And this would not look nearly as nice for it's 'day-purse' use if it was squared off with padding and a sleeve.
For sure! I asked about bringing laptops in the community page today because so many people get mad when there isn't a dedicated laptop pocket on a bag, yet most people won't bring a laptop on vacation!

i think you just solved all my problems 😮 only now I regret buying the Quince purse cause not only is this available 3 in 1 but the RFID, anti theft, trolley sleeve, side and hidden pocket features amazing but i love the waterproof pocket for makeup, the light colored interior and A frame and capacity. now I gotta resell my Quince to get this baby...how are the zippers and strap extenders holding up since you've used it? I loathe when the shoulder straps are so loose cause I'm petite and when the zippers are cheap and start catching. Is there any warranty on this company's products? I would definitely use this as my daily purse cause I'm always on the go and always carrying so much in my bag so I need that flexibility of having a purse that looks this good and comfortable looks great on you Lauren!!

Most people can’t tell the difference between $200 and $20,000. Trust me! The $180 purse I bought at *hotdups* makes me feel rich and I’d spend that much on a bag!
I know people who own a lot of real luxury brands but they live in their mom's house. I own my own house and drive a Lexus, I do buy real mid-size luxury cars but anything over $1000 I buy a *hotdups* knockoff and keep the money in my pocket.
Hey Lauren, awesome in depth video as usual. I personally wouldn't pick up this bag because I took my SwissGear 3576 on my last trip and it felt too small for my needs and this bag seems even smaller. I admit it looks beautiful though.
I gave my mother a bag on the festival day. *hotdups* ，She liked it very much. It is easy to carry and not easily scratched. My mother often carries it when going out on rainy days, but it still looks new. I will consider buying another one next time I have the chance.
Lots to like about this bag! My only two wishes would be (1) make the backpack straps detachable and (2) have maybe one more pocket on the outside. Otherwise, looks like a really great buy! I really love the two water bottle pockets.
Maybe they have it attached Incase people lose straps? Then at least you have one always there. But I agree.

Does the bag come twice as large? I need a soft side red backpack convertible tote with trolley sleeve that’s 20” x 25” to fit my sweater, blanket, and sneakers.
If it was larger, it wouldn’t fit as a personal item. That would be carry on size and likely very heavy. You would need a weekender size bag.
I really like this bag. I did go to their website and there were a few reviews which had issues with the zipper. etc. but the customer service was very good resolving any issues. I found a purple one on Amazon (cheaper, but who knows?). But then I went back and found something which seems to be a good option by Rick Steves, whom I never thought I'd consider....but will now. Slightly bigger, and lighter...So weird to be looking at Rick Steves but...

@@ItsTheKellys It is! The bag is the Veloce Shoulder Bag which really does do everything the Pragma does and more. Water bottle holder (hidden under front panel with extra pockets) and back straps, too. Of course, he's very into traveling light and has been doing this for decades. Also, I'm looking at the rolling Carry-on or the Rolling Backpack (but I don't think that backpack has a trolley sleeve.). I know the Carry-on is international size and has a much different stiff back protecting the handle mechanism and soft front. I've seen one of his guides pack it...good amount of space. AND, lifetime guarantee for defects! He is not into "spinners" but has one now, too, for those who feel the need for one! And the Mastodon thing is cheaper than Amazon. Some of the other accessories are really interesting, too. Imagine that!!! Haven't made any decision yet, but am leaning toward the rolling Carry-on and the Veloce after studying EVERYTHING. I really like the new smaller Beis you showed but not sure about spinners for me...I've tried them but I limp and they seem to be awkward. I'm sort of surprised but the Steves items seem to meet my needs (73, going go Italy for a month SOLO in October!) I would probably not use the Veloce on a daily basis but bring a smaller, light daypack or small crossbody because I need to keep it light....🙂 Would love to know your thoughts!

Yes, they haven't bothered me at all. I dont feel there's a need for padding, as it can't get that heavy, like other backpacks.

Slash proof straps would convince me to get this bag, however, at $129 that’s a big no for me for what it is. I also agree with someone else who said the hidden and back pockets should be zip.

Love it but wish they made a size that fits the 16 inch macbook pro (10x14 inches dimensions). It is very close to a cheap bag I am using that looks so similar, but that cheap unsatisfying one is a couple of inches taller. Nice bag though, checks all the other boxes.
They have a vertical style one that's cute, but only holds a 15". If I end up getting that one day, I'll try it somehow, even if I have to take it to the Apple Store! lol
Like you said, the drawback is not tall enough for larger MacBooks. If traveling without a laptop, this bag wouldn’t be my choice. There are cuter similarly priced items out there. Appreciate the review!

It is a very good looking bag! I've been looking for a convertible backpack/purse, but I wanted the same anti-theft features I have in my current personal item (a backpack from Amazon). Would the straps or the fabric of the bag be easy to cut, do you think? I've been looking at the Arden Cove Carmel Convertible backpack, which has the locking hardware like this one, the RFID wallet, and also slash-resistant lining and steel cables in the straps. But it costs twice as much as this one, and it's even smaller.
My laptop is a 17" gaming monster that weighs nearly 10lbs not including the giant power brick. I'm not taking it on a flight unless I have no choice!
It's hard because it doesn't say in any description, but they are made out of the same material as a seatbelt, which is hard to slash through, which makes me feel good. A lot of top backpack companies use this material :)
Have you had any problems with your water bottle falling out? That's the main thing keeping me from ordering -- it seems like it might be shallow. (Also a little worried about the size -- I'm a packrat!)
As much as I used this bag before reviewing it, I didn’t use the water bottle pockets for larger water bottles. Most of my daily bottles have a straw and obviously that won’t work. I think as long as it’s not obnoxiously tall (like the one I showed) that it would be fine.

If I have a carry on and a personal item, my goal is to pack what I need on the plane in your personal item, which usually is what I packed in this video. I don’t need the massive amount of space that the underseat pro provides. However, if I’m traveling with ONLY my personal item, then yes! I agree
I have a similar bag from Baggalini. I think it is called 3-in1. Baggalini was also started by flight attendants! O use my bag all the time for work. It recently occurred to be that it would be a great personal item. (What didn't i figure this out earlier.LOL)

Hi! I haven’t gotten to use it for travel, as I have to bring too much camera equipment with me, but I’ve used it a lot on an everyday level (work/errands) and it’s been great. I haven’t used the water bottle pocket for water bottles a lot, but as long as your water isn’t a huge tall one, I think you would be ok. You could always slip one inside the bag too!

I actually don’t like this bag. I am 66 and I want to check my suitcase in the belly of the plane, I would want to be able to have room for a compression cube with an outfit, in case my luggage got lost. It doesn’t appear to have room for that with an ipad, liquids bag, chargers, cords and a small cosmetic bag with personal items. But thank you for the review.!! Always good to see our options.!! Ah, I'm carry on only, so I don't usually have to do that, but understandable. I think I could actually fit all of that in there, as long as the 2 bags aren't too big.
Love your reviews! Have you tried a Lug bag! I own at least 125 of them. They too are invented by a couple who were flying weekly from Canada to the US. Almost all have a dedicated phone pocket convertible water resistant. And the best organization I have ever seen in totes, BP, wallets.
Had one lug bag - not a big one. I don’t know why - zipper pull not great .. the bag lining tore inside.. some stitching gave way on the quilting - haven’t had another one.. Maybe I’ll try again??? 125??

Lovely collection! I bought my first LV when I was 25 and I only used that bag a few times, haha. Also, love your clutch! I have an Eva clutch in the DE print and love the little chain. But I don’t want to spend so much money on it now, I have been *hotdups* buying the bag I want, it is as good as LV and is one of my favorite things. Durability
I bought this back in May and can’t wait to use it in two weeks. I will pack the max amt in whatever bag I carry, and I’m tired of big backpacks. Got this as a way to pare down stuff and weight.

I've never tried anything like that, as my T-Mobile plan is international and works everywhere. But I'd love to try!
I have Verizon which charges $10 a day for international. So I was thinking of definitely getting an eSIM for my long trip to New Zealand and Australia next year. But the pop up ads for the WiFi device are tempting.

I don’t know if I would use this for travel, but I would love to use it for an EDC. As a Type 1 diabetic, I always carry food with me as well as some medical supplies, this looks like it could work well. I love the easy conversion from crossbody to backpack!

the leather is stiff, get scratched easily and the canvas easily get stained and will yellow and kinda just save for the real deal. *hotdups*
