@Sakitech my factory unlocked S23 ultra is still stuck at October 2023 security patch. Phone keeps saying it's up to date whenever I click on check for updates. 😢

I have the S22 Ultra, and just for grins, I checked the Software Update and voila, there is one! As I scrolled through the data though, it showed that the last security update was in April. That concerns me so I am wondering how my phone is capable of getting software updates without accompanying security? Any suggestions? Thanks. :)

My S22's last update was dated 1May24. My phone got around mid May.🤷🏼♂️

On my S23, in App security I only have Google Play Protect, App Protection is not there. Update Security Engine is not there either in About Device care.
It seems most of what is shown is applicable to s24s only since Samsung keeps shifting item locations around plus new ways of customization: case in point--when I upped from s21utra to s23 ultra, I had a bunch of customized ringtones/notifications. Said customization didn't come over and I went nuts over it, even going on service chat with no results. I went into phone app playing kitten on the keys seeing what I could find...hey, presto, under the MORE button, there was changing ringtones! After changing what I wanted, I got back on service chat and asked the chatter pass along to the earlier tech what I had found with apologies. Lesson learned.
its werid this month i had another may update 2 days ago and then got this june update today s24 ultra im in the Uk

The previous update to this didn't have the June patch for some reason then a few days later this new update does.
I'm scared of updating my s21 cause of the issue with green lines surfacing later 😢

June 2024 update killed cell service on my fold 4. Can't even call emergency services. Factory reset did nothing to fix it.
I had received the June security update on 6/11, s23 ultra unlocked on Verizon.
OneUI 6.1 totally messed up my battery. Went from 8h to 5h with no difference in phone usage.
Just updated my S24U. Now my phone is freezing.
S10e got an Update for the snapdragon models only😊.
So many reports of slow phones, touchscreen problems and battery drain..... I've given up on these updates.
Yeah thats why i still prefer iphone 15 pro max since i had it has alwyse smooth and way less issues and hiccups or bugs where my s23 plus bad alwyse bad
The 6.1 update cause wifi and Bluetooth to stop working on my z fold 4. Had to send it in for repair, samsung claimed the phone had damage, which wasn't true, I was able to connect after a factory reset. They just wouldn't admit the update was the cause.

My mom updated her phone and the touch screen no longer responds. She has done everything and nothing works. She didn't damage it or drop it or anything.
How do you get app protection
I can't believe myself! I've been ignoring those updates since I got a Samsung phone and I install them every few months without learning security features, why this phone needs to keep up to everyday standards? I feel suspicious like I'm vulnerable to malware.

My s22 Ultra has been performing much better since the update 3 days ago. I previously had extreme lags with customer photos on Amazon, but they're gone now!
But thanks to the new AI features, I no longer have any reason to switch to an S24 Ultra.

It's looks like snapdragon 8gen3 have weaker graphic performance than 8 gen 2.....I compare with one game No warp effect no other graphic effect WHY SAMSUNG DIDN'T TELL TO US THIS.

Samsung just destroyed my phone with their update. I have s22 it runs smooth battery life okay but the recent update just ruined it. Now my phone is not charging properly plus it drains faster. I am really disappointed to be honest. Now my only option is to charge it by using wireless that would take 3 hours until its full. I love samsung but what they did is not acceptable. Now I'm planning to buy a new phone but not samsung. I'm sorry guys but i had enough of their B.S.
