Team waiting like everyone else. With the new system I feel only the best of the best are worth summoning.
In the long run WFS will regret leaning so hard into this system.
They might, but they also might just be out to bleed the whales dry now, so they can move on. They make about 200k in profit each month which is not a lot in a gacha game.
While of course at the same time it's to see if they can attract a few more whales. As the stellar system is 100% designed to stoke your fomo to the high heavens. As it takes 2 months minimum to awaken their stellar. And that is if they keep on giving 1 each month.
@@NathanWubs That’s exactly what they’re doing. I think they got a new CEO or project lead which is trying to increase profits for the game.
Burning their long term dedicated players just to milk the whales is a bad move in my opinion. Yeah 200k a month isn’t a lot for a gacha game but it’s still a good chunk of money. I wonder how much of that is smaller spenders.
Before the steller system I’d spend $100 here and there. If you add my free stones I’d get the new units and be able to sidegrade any new styles. With what I’ve seen so far I sure ain’t spending money anymore. I wonder how many dedicated players that have been playing from the start stopped spending money.
They had to add insult to injury too by making the stellar abilities based on shadow/light. Unless the unit already has enough light/shadow it’s not worth side grading. The original light/shadow abilities were total utility and didn’t affect the units usefulness all that much.
Long rant sorry. It’s just pretty frustrating.
I put in just one ten pull. Got nothing. I'm really getting more annoyed with the whole stellar system with every banner that passes. I just feel like my chronos stones have been devalued. Not to mention my entire roster!
Chronos stones indeed have been devalued! And except for a few outstanding units, yes everyone's roster has taken a step back as well.
I'll be waiting and farming, even though I love Akane.
She is definitely a bait banner !
As the local Akane fan, she’s not restricted but limited. Her only allies for Earth are AS Otoha and Elga but everyone knows the problem with using AS Elga, for Slash everyone that likes Slash res down works with Akane (Aldo included) but chances are people already have someone easier for that, every 3 turns she can spam her SA Skill in AF so it charges the AF gauge 3 times or they can use it as the easy nuke. I don’t regret getting her but they’re definitely going to release Alter Shigure just to be the Itto-Ryu slash zone setter… also making her only drop earth zone is the biggest issue in her kit
There is also BCS ( Alter Isuka ) that works very well with her tbh

Usually the question is would you get certain characters when they are released when buying chrono stones or would you rather earn them by playing another dungeon and getting murmur, pray, chant and the tome/treastie/codex once for 4 star and work up to 5 star depending on how many tome/treastie/codex you need to get but the number of murmur, pray and 5 chants is a killer. Note that it takes a very long while to get it.
At this point chants aren't even the problem, it's the starchart system that holds most of the newest upgrades back.
Also gonna wait for merge.
I agree that Akane AC seems too restricted, and I'm not a fan of that, really. I'll sidegrade her when I get the Opuses I suppose.
Melpiphia though - she's eyeing my CS pretty hard...
I'm a bit disappointed by the anniversary units in general, so aside from a few pulls here & there, I'll be skipping them all.
I'll just wait for Melpiphia and Sazanca.

I'm little bit conflicted about this banner. Since I don't have Alter Shannon, I think Alter Akane would help me a lot in my team. At the same time, I also want to pull the new global unit.
