There are a couple of versions of theFT03 flashlight - mine (SST40) is the one with the lower lumens only 2400. the XHP50 has the higher lumens. At the time I made the video I was not aware of the XHP50 version.
You didnt show us the light in its full 2400 lumens turbo mode. in order to do that you do a fast double click. ramping to the highest level is not turbo which is what you did in the video

Been tested to get highest lumens with the golisi 4300 mah 26650 and the Samsung 30t 21700 . Also the mateminco mt35 mini is the same light and is the manufacture of astrolux

Hello . Ive just bought the fto3 sft40 6500k and was wondering what the best battery is for that torch? Ive ordered Samsung 25R 2500mah battery and im not sure if it's the best one for the job . Please can you point me in the right direction thank-you 🙏
I am not well enough versed in batteries to give you an expert answer but I do advise staying with the big tech brand name batteries to be safe, a lot of cheap batteries are available that are complete junk, often even lying about who much mAh capacity they have (technically an 18650 can have no more than 3500mAh AFAIK). Samsung has been near the top in li-ion battery production and is a good choice.
I doubt it. BUT, I must admit that I don't have a lot of experience dedoming. I believe that the throw is predominantly due to the shape of the reflector, also influenced by the lense. I must also admit that I am NOT a flashlight expert, just an amature with a fair amount of experience.
I still have the flashlight, so I will run a test. But, I can say that it will depend a LOT on the battery. If I don't update this reply within 24 hours then please remind my by commenting again - a new comment preferably as replies to replies are easy to miss on the UA-cam creator page.
Yes, it does reach 800 meters, but that doesn't' mean I can clearly see small things like a cat or something that size at 800 meters because that is very hard to do even in daylight. It's all subjective to each person and what they want to be able to see at that distance, but the light most certainly travels that far. It makes reflective road signs stand out quite brightly at 1km even. But not that the signs can be read, they are just to far away to be read even in daylight, but the light easily goes that far.
There are some variables - mainly how hot it is where you are using the light and if there is a breeze or not, and if you are holding it or have it set down. In my tests, it ran at full turbo mode for about 7 minutes before it dropped down a bit, and that is when I was holding the flashlight in my hand and the temperature was about 20C outside.
I wouldn't say one is better than the other. The gt mini is a small thrower. One of the best for it's size. This is a medium size thrower. So it depends on what you're looking for. Both are great.

Ramping to high is not 2400 lumens. You do a fast double click to punch the light turbo which is the full 2400 lumens.
Double click to get to the highest mode.

Turbo goes for about 4 and a half minutes before it drops the lumens down to the high setting

I am sorry, I don't know the answer to that, I have not tested the Lumitop
