Join us for an eye opening ramble through a world of duelling, hi-jinks and challenging morality with Italy's oldest practicing fencing master. An interview with Maestro Paolo Cazzato is a fascinating insight into the world of fencing in the early 20th century.
If you watched our ten part UA-cam mini-series on Achille Marozzo’s Spada a Due Mani, you may recall it ending in a decision. With my school closed due to a global pandemic, I would seek out help along the way to deepening my understanding of swordsmanship and becoming a better teacher. This is the first such video.

As many of you are probably aware, my moniker of ‘Wandering Swordsman’ used in these videos is based on the old European concept of a non guild affiliated instructor in swordsmanship being little better than a vagabond. This is particularly apt due to my lifestyle choice of living on a boat and travelling around the south of England, putting up posters and offering classes wherever I happen to stop.
