I love this track. Words cannot explain why, I will hold CENTAURA close to my heart until I die. The story-telling is amazing, it may be frustrating to die over and over, but something always draws me back to this game. CENTAURA and DEAD AHEAD themselves inspired me to create my own fictional world with fictional countries that I hope to one day make into a stand-alone game.
I'm making my own kind of fictional universe, where there was some sort of error in the Earth's creation and now it's a different planet with different continents and nations It's gonna be very controversial since it's gonna be a border game and the ideologies of some countries will make them very hated, but I still think it's gonna go pretty well if managed correctly

The captain Daniel's made me think honestly, despite his rank he may have been in service for so long, meeting alot of friends and losing all of them in a single war. Can't imagine what that's like in my life, even if he made it back home and survived his sanity is just gone. It's odd that many came back and told their stories but it's terrifying that many didnt made it and their stories are just forgotten from their own experience.

This game is beautiful and its phrases are even better. "Only the dead have seen the end of war" or "You are just a volunteer, no one expects you to survive." It is interesting because the black man being the same color as the ground is something like he He was destined to go to the coffin under the earth, but his lady symbolizes love, will, peace and delicacy. There's nothing better than coming back to your lady after a strange and tiring day.
The Grass flows, and the Farms of the south was now filled, nothing but dead cetus and Antare's Troops, the barn was burnt, the Cow's Pen was burnt, turning the Cow's inside Burnt to a crisp into steak, armoured vehicle's burnt and rusted, the doors to get inside is welded shut, imagine the pain and agony of the crew inside, banging on a piece of Metal while its burning and cooking them alive, some tanks destroyed by explosives. Bunkers crumbled like tissue, Holes made by Artillery strike's, the grass was stained red and black, due to the blood and the fire of a flamethrower. The Flag was swaying on the Bunker on the Cetus last defence....The Antare's flag was swaying meaning the Antares successfully won... Cetus is now doomed.
I do wish we had more maps like gridlock, gridlock really defines what centura is, same as the farm map, but gridlock is always such a massacre it’s insane. Sometimes no matter how hard your team tries you still lose.

I feel like the mood of the game has shifted from anti-war to pro-war. To make an anti-war effective, you have to completely remove all patriotism, all worthy sacrafice and also not connect war to romance (which some of these they have already done) Now, people argue amongst eachother which nations were better, ignoring the true brutality and pointlessness to it all.
I kinda agree. But I feel like People will always have their favorite nation and argue about it. No matter what is it. As that's kinda what people do. While I haven't play Alot, due to my shitty computer. It's not the game itself that's getting patriotic and all that. It's just people who are larping.

Which isn't pointless. They have reason and a point to fight. While cetus just stole land that didn't belong to them. And corvus got pissy.
I dont think its pro war at all. The way I interpret it is that its a wounded corvun officer trying to think of his wife as hes bleeding out and once hes dead and the battle is over a crow comes and feasts on his corpse
@@erocktherockjohnson5169 The game has not become pro-war, thats very different from not anti-war. Centaura has just become a brutal depiction. It has lost it's original impact. The problem is that people are now glorifying the wars, ignoring the true message the game is trying to tell us, in part because of Forma's extensive lore, and people trying to... larp online. In the end its how the individual interprets it though.
This is how i think the war will end (will probably be inaccurate to lore): The war is over, Antares has surrendered and given up occupied land. Cetans and other other captured countries people flood in happy to be back in their homeland, and then, every country who participated in the war will have a soldier come in a circle, each holding their country's national bird and then let go of the grasp on the bird, signalling hopefully an age of peace as the birds fly together (again, sorry if its inaccurate)
You actually got it all wrong. Centaura game is a prequel game to Dead Ahead. Centaura game tells us about the great bloody conquest of Antares in the continent of Centaura and how it annexed it.

I know the lore states that most nations in Forma practice aggressive imperialism, but I feel bad for Cetus. Their army is severely undermanned and after getting beaten up badly by Corvus, they had to face Antarean invasion from the south. And even after the nation fell, parts of their navy and marine force made their one last stand to at least partially liberate their homeland

Corvus is Latin for Raven Most (if not all) of the nations in Forma (the world that CENTAURA and its sequel DEAD AHEAD take place in) are all named after constellations or stars. Example: Antares is named after the star Antares in the Scorpius Constellation (which is coincidentally why many of Antares' satellite states are named Skorpii, example; Skorpii Riaa) Orion (the main adversary to the Antarean Empire in Dead Ahead) is based of the Orion Constellation

The captain Daniel's made me think honestly, despite his rank he may have been in service for so long, meeting alot of friends and losing all of them in a single war. Can't imagine what that's like in my life, even if he made it back home and survived his sanity is just gone.
It's odd that many came back and told their stories but it's terrifying that many didnt made it and their stories are just forgotten from their own experience.

I do wish we had more maps like gridlock, gridlock really defines what centura is, same as the farm map, but gridlock is always such a massacre it’s insane. Sometimes no matter how hard your team tries you still lose.
Blackton is usually a quick battle with at most 900 deaths. Battery Q gets about 2000. Gridlock sometimes reaches 10,000....

I feel like the mood of the game has shifted from anti-war to pro-war. To make an anti-war effective, you have to completely remove all patriotism, all worthy sacrafice and also not connect war to romance (which some of these they have already done) Now, people argue amongst eachother which nations were better, ignoring the true brutality and pointlessness to it all.

@@erocktherockjohnson5169 The game has not become pro-war, thats very different from not anti-war. Centaura has just become a brutal depiction. It has lost it's original impact. The problem is that people are now glorifying the wars, ignoring the true message the game is trying to tell us, in part because of Forma's extensive lore, and people trying to... larp online.
In the end its how the individual interprets it though.

This is how i think the war will end (will probably be inaccurate to lore): The war is over, Antares has surrendered and given up occupied land. Cetans and other other captured countries people flood in happy to be back in their homeland, and then, every country who participated in the war will have a soldier come in a circle, each holding their country's national bird and then let go of the grasp on the bird, signalling hopefully an age of peace as the birds fly together (again, sorry if its inaccurate)
You actually got it all wrong. Centaura game is a prequel game to Dead Ahead. Centaura game tells us about the great bloody conquest of Antares in the continent of Centaura and how it annexed it.

I know the lore states that most nations in Forma practice aggressive imperialism, but I feel bad for Cetus. Their army is severely undermanned and after getting beaten up badly by Corvus, they had to face Antarean invasion from the south. And even after the nation fell, parts of their navy and marine force made their one last stand to at least partially liberate their homeland

Most (if not all) of the nations in Forma (the world that CENTAURA and its sequel DEAD AHEAD take place in) are all named after constellations or stars.
Example: Antares is named after the star Antares in the Scorpius Constellation (which is coincidentally why many of Antares' satellite states are named Skorpii, example; Skorpii Riaa)
Orion (the main adversary to the Antarean Empire in Dead Ahead) is based of the Orion Constellation
