Ignore all the trolls Hugo. I enjoy your reviews and respect that you have a tremendous amount of experience and knowledge in this field. Your presentation technique will evolve over time, so chill mate.
Maybe a few glugs of rum prior to the tour? It might loosen things up a tad. What could possibly go wrong?

Just watched Nic 'Aquaholic' Burnhams tour of the Sessa in the berth next to this and was so glad to catch this viewing on your channel. I really like Sealine boats and my fave has to be the C430 but this would do me fine, The only downside was the slightly cramped 2nd cabin but for a boat of 35ft it does the job. Nice piece of kit as I always say.

Nice compact boat with decent cabins and nice lounge. Would have liked to see engines and know the range (suspect 2 - 300 miles). Does it have stabilisers or thrusters ? Enjoyable tour though of a very nice yacht.

Nick ( Aquaholic ) did this boat recently. Look for his video. You will find your answers there.

Thanks Robert. Had not spotted Nicks tour. I was right about the range as it was 250 miles. Have obviously watched too many of these videos, as I am getting to know the specs 😂. Love this channel and Nicks Aquaholic channel! If I had money, I would much prefer to buy a good yacht over a flash impractical sports car. Before discovering MB&Y and Aquaholic’s, I had no clue how fantastic these yachts are and how good a lifestyle it is. Keep up the great work ! 😊

Nice to sea a Sealine on the Channel, as an owner of one of the original UK boats I'm still not sold on the new German design

Heres an idea. Add some smaller properly spaced cleats so you don't have to tie the fenders on the hand rails.

SEALINE really got much better after Hanse acquired the brand
    They are doing right
Nice Bill Dixon's Design and good quality control
Overall, it is good enough as a mid. class brand

I see the saloon has been dressed by my wife - a million cushions everywhere and nowhere to sit……..
And of course the obligatory centrepiece of flowers (thank god we don’t have that on ours) that would topple over as soon as you depart the berth….

1st comment. Too much plastic on show on the dash board. If like me you drive a prestige car with leather trim on the dash board and door trims then the white grp on the driving position does not give the feel of exclusivity. Ow down in the accommodation they have gone the extra mile. On the switch board area as you enter the boat, why oh why put a power point in the cupboard, what use is the to anyone in there. Of course I would very much like to have one in place of my own boat where much of the annoying non thinking of boat designers we have altered to meet our own requirements. Keep up the good work Hugo.

This kind of disjointed stuttery walkaround review, with the "i have to stop doing anything if i'm going to try to talk because i really need more processing power", really makes you appreciate the passion and fluidity of the Aquaholic channel .

Hi - Like the boat and the info, but it the video was marred by a series of problems. It was much improved from earlier videos and we hope to see continued growth. Aquaholic's first videos were no where near as good as his later work. Aquaholic also reviewed this boat but on a sunny day - it made a big difference. The exposure was too dark at least outside, made everything look very grey. It was a grey day, but that is fixable. You don't seem to be using an external mic, so the sound is uneven and you can hear your hand creaking on the handle of the camera. The camera work is a little to fast and jerky. You kept referring to the boat as the "325". You said there were changes, but not from what? You failed to note that the decks were not symmetric, it seemed to catch you by surprise. You wore shoes on the boat. Were the lights dual marine lights - they turn red also? I think I've seen lights like that on other boats. Sometimes they seem to be but not others. Is that they are different light or that it is just missed.

It's a nice affordable little coupé cruiser. But a 30 knot _sports_ cruiser? Fairline, Princess, and Sunseeker have 30-something models out that range between 50 and 60 knots.
The only sports this boat going to be good at is dominos.

Someone please stop Hugo from doing reviews like this.
Completely missed the bar area in the cockpit, camera work is woeful and it always seems like he's never been on the boat before he starts filming. Every cupboard or feature is a complete surprise to him.
Give Nick a few quid and get him to teach you how to do it properly. Until then leave it to Jack.

@@darthkek1953 well said, the good presenters make it look effortless and to us, the viewer, we seem to think that it should be easy for everyone.
Remember, Hugo is first and foremost a journalist and master of the written word. Presenting with a self held camera is one hell of a skill and it’s a learnt skill and some are more natural than others. The heady world of UA-cam allows us all to be Clive James and an inveterate critic.
I’d love to give it a go, but my natural sensitivities and inabilities keep me as a viewer and a subtle observer at present.
As for the Sea Lion (well that’s what the captions told me he said) it’s yet another copy of the old Fairline Targa. Where I keep my boat there are dozens of them in every guise. They fulfill a family need, but they’re not for me.

    • @hugoandreae3495
      @hugoandreae3495 3 роки тому +6

Thanks for all the feedback, good and bad. Completely agree that Nick and Jack are better at this than me but we don’t always have the choice, it usually comes down to who is available on any given day as we also have a printed magazine to get out.
In the meantime I’m hoping that practice will gradually make me at least a little better.

    • @PhilbyFavourites

@@hugoandreae3495 Hugo thanks for taking the time to reply. Putting yourself front and centre on UA-cam is big old challenge, one that 99% of us (that’s namely the viewers) would stumble over.
Silly question (and no need to answer) for the magazine you must do homework homework homework. Nick looks as if he breezes in with nary a care in the world when he does Aquaholic. Do you have a walkthrough plan and spiel committed to memory, or even a walk through rehearsal?
