Here are some fun facts that I noted when he explained this MIITO movie if you are interested in more; In the beginning, Insanity is taking off the jacket and showing the universe / power inside him with those lightening / spark effects. Then creating a scene where Mito being banished and him realizing that he is alone, betrayed so an evil (Red Devil) awakens inside him. When they shot 'One Shot' outside with that beautiful sky, he wanted some birds flying but there weren't so he put fake ones in the edit :) And he really studied to put it there like how fast and in what color it would be to fit to that scene. He also studied thunder and lightening for a few years to understand its movements / dynamics. In One Shot, that fire starts on his left hand because he has a 'Burn' written tattoo in his left hand so it's really well thought. With all of the lightenings, he represents his mind in a really chaotic way. He is like resenting the Creator for choosing him, kinda for being a puppet. He is feeling like how Mito feels in that scene so there is a similarity between them. We see a glimpse of red world (when the sky is turning red) and it's Mito's world like almost showing the Other Side. In the beginning of Mood when he is at home after the kidnap, even though being kidnapped is a big deal, he is more bothered that he is dipping so nothing matters at that moment, it is not his priority anymore that's why he is hearing voices like 'you need to get out.' And he really hears that lady's voice in real life in his head, that voice tone and the way she speaks reminds him his mom's voice. The voice that he is hearing 'Are we not gonna get out of here' and the voice in the beginning of 'Mood' 'Your violets on horizons' is the same voice that he hears inside his head. The medication is sparkling because Insanity put it for Ian to take it to keep him in check. He always checks time to see how long his mood swings are taking in real life so that's why we are seeing too many moods changing while he is holding a pocket watch. In the Mito scene, colors are spreading / blowing up and it was meant to continue in the next 2 scenes where Mito is flying, but he couldn't do that because of limited time. Running on the wall scene was the hardest one. He was on a harness and it was only supporting his hip so it was hard to maintain his core strength while running and he also had to jump not to collide the columns. He failed 5 times and did it in the last one or else that scene would be missing. The painting in the Ribbon, we can see her only one eye and she kinda has a dead expression so that painting reminds him Mito. And there is little blood dropping from her eye if you closely look at it. He had to learn Ribbon choreography in 4 hours because it was a last minute decision. At 7.17, we are seeing red eyes outside, behind Mito, they are real tiger's, he got it from a video and put there. In the end, he is saying 'Miss Understood' but there is a cut and it is hard to understand and he wanted it to be unclear. John from his team wrote and put 'Miss Understood' to that scene. Christian was wondering how people know what it is because he did not know haha. He really cares about small details that we realize / we miss to complete his story fully. He spends hours to create that 1 - 2 second scene. I respect him so much.
IAN is one of the if not the best true Artist of out times. He is the Master of his craft and today there is nobody, not even a one soul who can come closer to him musically. In my personal books he is next to the handful of greatest of all time in the world. Outstanding, flawless in every sense of the word. Glad that you have reacted to MITO Movie and loved it. First of all Ian literally has a no skip discography ...i mean it . He is really the definition of an artist who crafts his art he said everything he makes is about all the things he actually felt and went through He can't make art about the things he doesn't relate to. everytime i watch his videos im so amazed then i remember its actually his real life its what he feels and it hits me so hard every single time .Ian also talks abt his condition and his artistry in details with so much honesty every video is a literal free therapy session i think the more you listen to him opening up abt himself the easier you can understand his videos .you will realize how fascinating this man is once you start to get to know him as a person .he truly feels like such a geniune kind hearted person that you can't just not love him
the miss understood part is very smart, its distorted to the point your brain tricks you into hearing it ONLY when you read the words ''miss understood'' in the subtitle.
There is a documentary for this he talked about meaning behind his songs and how he creates them. I recommend you add that to your list " memories in disorder " Mito movie documentary
Since the first DPR reaction you made, I was waiting so much for your reaction to this masterpiece and it's so satisfying to see someone recognising and appreciate his talent and art, I love it so much ! Welcome to the other side Roscoe and everyone that discovered him as well !
I love how you appreciate the insane details in the editing. There really arae sooo many little layers. Like the birds in the one desert clip he edited in. Or the insane sky changes you pointerd out. He actually showed his timeline in a live and said that all the fire, which didn't even last a second, where tiny clips he cobbled together to make it as realistic as possible. And the Miss Understood song doesn't have a video yet and there's not other Mito movie yet cause he wants Mito 3 to wrap up the entire project, which will take 2-3 years total to complete according to his plans. And until then, he's done the Insanity EP and will release a Hybrid EP this year.
Truly the best artist out there. I'm so happy that Ian and his whole team are getting the recognition they deserve because honestly what Ian does and the team is by far one of the best works in everything. He really has a good team. I can't even imagine how it would be to work with him, it definitely would be an honor.
This album is sooo good! DPR Ian is such a unique artist! His mind and creativeness are on another level! I want to recommend you another artist to do a deep dive as well and it's a band from JYP called Xdinary Heroes! They are so talented and their songs are all pretty good!
I initially started looking into the cause of dust, scratches, etc. on older films -you were discussing this in the DPR IAN “So Beautiful” reaction- because I wondered if the reason would point me to IAN/Christian’s purpose of using it. (I found your theory interesting and wondered if typical causes could relate to that beyond mere human involvement. But of course that’d be plenty sufficient.) And jfc… THAT SENT ME INTO A RABBIT HOLE FOR THE PAST HOUR. I now believe Christian is utilizing the process of filmmaking/photography to represent his stories. He is undeniably using the colors involved in black & white film processing AND THEN the evolution into Technicolor. I’m very new to understanding the process behind it but there is a very evident connection, imo. Only DPR IAN could get me to learn about something I ain’t ever making use of outside of a brief analysis… lol I’m just too damn curious and it felt like a mystery to solve once I read someone mention “green and red” were the only colors utilized for 2 strips of b&w film. And what got added after that? Cyan and magenta dyes. (Early sneak peaks of Mr. Insanity in MIITO.) Shortly after this was the same process but done on only one film strip. Then came Technicolor and its RGB 3-strip! And of course the CMY dye (cyan, magenta, yellow). And CMYK soon after, with K being “key,” aka black. 🤯 Not to mention black was becoming more pronounced as coloring on film improved.
I noticed this when this first came out, but at 3:36 i believe the driver is mr. Insanity throwin ian around in the van because 9:20 he turns the inside car light off and you can see its him bc of the outfit(it only shows his sleeve, but still...) and at the very VERY end when he's trying to open/keep the chest closed, 13:14 its him in the mr.insanity blazer... also at the very beginning during "Seraph" 1:28 ... Also at 11:31 it shows him with the chest open... ALSO, i believe the chest at the end is the one at the end of "so i danced"! 13:14 random, but in the documentary teaser for mito movie, you can see the lighs in the back of the van that just resembles him lol 💚💙💜 at the very end 11:41 I think ian walks in on the chest opened... maybe thats when he transitions to mr.insanity... idk for sure and am usually wrong with my observations, but im just sayin... 👀❤🔥
If you ever decide to do an MV dissection fully I would watch it. I am still looking for a good reactors who does MV dissections so I would be happy. I would love to know more about the postproduction cuz I know kpop MV can be really good.

The way I see his videos and song etc is like this: often, people tell a story with their song. And there's a story in a video. And those two often work together, support each other and are like parallel to each other. But with Ian's work, there's no separation. It is just all the same story, completely fused.
I just noticed, after watching this for the hundredth time, that the hand holding a slide and turning off the overhead light is Mr. Insanity, in the van that kidnapped him during 1-Shot. It's a flash shot between Mood and Ribbon, right after we see the knife coming, but before he's been stabbed.
he's unfortunately not dropping part two so, we won't get to see how miss understood (and maybe other songs) plays out. I wish he would but alas, we can cherish part one. But Ian, no words to describe him and his work.

Serious question, no judgment pls. But the voices he hears after Mood, doesn't everyone experience that? Mine doesn't say like "she' looks like shes in pain" it says more "you look like you're in pain" and "you'll be ok" and then i have my own voice of "i, I'm" etc. Thats not normal?
No judgment here. I think there is a differentiation between our standard 'internal monologue' (which is essentially our own thoughts formed in a way we can understand) and what IAN experiences. Based on my very limited understanding and own interpretation, his alters are quite literally different voices and thoughts that are disconnected from his own. What you describe is something that I believe is very normal; based on the situation my brain might try to 'talk myself out of/into something' and other times it feels more personal; 'I can't believe I just did that.' I don't know if any of this helps but at the very least, it's discussion, which is what I believe is something that IAN and his art encourage.
IMO Insanity is the one who stabbed him because looks like Mito is trying to protect him and then he’s hearing him (about to switch) but he avoids it when taking the pills. I feel like that’s why the voices tells him “you know what’s gonna happen if you take them” or like “don’t take them now”. The one at the beginning clearly is Insanity and then this Miss Understood is the one you saw in the “find dead or alive” for he killing of her. Which also leads us to Nerves where you can hear the shoots and the girl. I think Insanity did it not Mito. I have this crazy theory the Mito was the one having a thing with her and then Insanity broke then apart. Insanity I feel keeps her in that vault. At the beginning of the video ofc is a conversation between Insanity and Mito.
Also the van kidnapping him is Insanity (same van in so I just danced) so when the knif3 stabs him Insanity does this gesture with his hand turning the light off or something. He does a thingy with his hand. And also in Ribbon just like No Blueberries, Mito takes the hit for Ian and saves him.
