You are so adorable and you present so well, I love witch hazel and have been bothered by a small amount of varicose veins behind my right knee and when learning that this little wonder also helps with my veiny problems I was so excited because I too always choose natural products first.

Awesome information thank you! Copper is known to be the vein strengthener. I would google copper skin creams. Black walnut is also great for varicose veins. Cheers!

How I love DIY videos & awesome that I found you, as I also use Witch hazel for so many things, as well as cleaning, stains etc.! I have liked, subscribed & rang that bell, did ya hear it ringing, lol... I would only suggest (For you & others that may not know, ;) ) that you spend a bit more ca$h & be sure there is NO alcohol in your chosen Witch Hazel, unless your using it for cleaning around the house. I actually buy the Thayers witch hazel (Aloe Vera formula) with lavender, but next time I want to try the Thayers Rose witch hazel... Im using witch hazel as a daily toner and to stop irritation after shaving. I have pcos and so I have sensitive skin that grows to much facial hair. witch hazel as my toner/aftershave really soothes my skin and keeps down the redness. My skin has never been softer or smoother

You really don't need surgery what you need to do is put your legs up against the wall while you're laying on your back and leave them up there for 20 minutes a day why you watch your favorite show or comedy and you will not have varicose veins. I've been doing that since my teens because one of my aunts or my mom suggested it and I'm 62 now and they do not have varicose veins never have! Not even when I was pregnant! You lay on your back put your both legs up against something Elevate them every single day. You will feel the difference in your legs not having us and pain will go away. Very simple
You should avoid the alcohol based witch hazel anything under 8 dollars has a ton of alcohol.

My skin is really sensitive, and shaving always gets me razor bumps and ingrowns. And apparently I'm allergic to wax as well, and electrolysis is too dang expensive. Any suggestions on hair removal?

Can you use witch hazel for psoriasis?
shylildude - Yes you can use it for psoriasis, and it worked wonders for me. Best if mixed with aloe. Only try a small patch first to see if you have any kind of negative reaction as you would do with any other type of home remedy.
So you just mix the aloe and the witch hazel together 1 part to 1 part, apply it to infected area, and then cover it with a band-aid or gauze depending how big of a area you're trying to cover. Do this everyday after you shower or bath and you will start seeing results in about 3 days. With me, it was completely gone in 2 weeks.
For the psoriasis to remain dormant after it's gone from your skin, remember to be on the right kind of diet and to get enough sun exposure. It's easier than you think. Number one, stay away from any kind of processed foods, red meat including pork, and always drink plenty of water, eat plenty of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, seeds and nuts.
Number two, even if your taking vitamin-B supplements they won't activate or absorb into your body if you don't get any sun. The nutrients in the foods you eat should have all the vitamin-B you need to help control your psoriasis just as long as you get the right amount of sun exposure. 10 to 20 minutes per day outside is all you need. Even on a cloudy day you will get all the UV rays you need.
A lot of people don't know that the two major kinds of vitamin-B's that your skin needs are all ready in your body, but they need to be synthesized or activated by ultraviolet rays from the sun in order to have any kind of positive effects with skin disorders, or just to have healthy skin in general.
Try it out shylildude or anyone else that has read my comment that has trouble with their psoriasis, and leave a reply. It would really be comforting and interesting to know if this remedy helps other people that have tried other remedy's but they failed.

Witch Hazel is much safer than bleach
black soap or a tiny amount of lemon in water, also exfoliate the arm pit with a kinda rough scrubbing glove x
it may reduce dark circles where ever you have a dark circle
