  • In this weeks video I've been making this traditional diamond bevel cluster transom window. No coloured glass in this project and it's all straight lead work with not a bend insight! A little bit different to get my teeth into 😬

Gorgeous. It's new, yet it looks like it was carefully plucked from a 19th century mansion. And it reminds me of that phrase: fashions fade; style is eternal. Well done, sir. Your discerning taste matches your superb skill.

It appears as if you're using a "Don Carlos" style lead knife. I have trouble using one. Are you applying a "wiggle" as you pressure down on the came? Your work is great. Thanks

This is beautiful. Really like the colorful glass, but this one is really classy. Amazing work as always. One of the best Instagram accounts.

Hello, I follow your work and they are excellent, the best thing is the detail and concern you put into each of them. Just asking: do you have details of each material you work with? and know your work techniques. I congratulate you and send you many greetings from Chile 🇨🇱.

True artistry! Question. If you are using beveled 1/4" class do you use 1/4" lead channel?

Cheers 🍻 I use the same lead came sizes for bevels as I would with any other 3mm art glass

Amazing again! I love this type of windows. You made another in straight lines and different textures of translucent glass that I loved too; but all your work is inspiring and beautiful. 👏👏👏👏

The cut the basic diamond shape and then grind down the angled edges on different grades of grinding wheels. It's quite a slow and messy process 💎💎💎

Boy, taking a leaded window apart is so much easier and faster than taking a foiled panel or piece apart!

The little window I took apart in the video was actually made with brass came rather than lead so it was rather easy to take apart as it hadn't been through the cementing process that happens to the lead came windows. If it was a leaded window instead it would have been much more tricky to do 🤗
