- In August 2007, Buckingham Palace announced that King Charles III had died. This mean that UKTV Channel had to stop programming and report on this event. Thankfully with experience from 2001, They where able to break the news smoothly. This is how ITV did it
You Know It’s Serious When They Say Independent Television
"Our King...is dead."

Directed By Stewert Morris
I'm absolutely loving these recent mocks. The political/royal themed EAS's are my personal favourites - they seem more realistic and grounded which is a big reason why I do enjoy them.
2007.. that's.. 10 years after the death of Princess Diana..
And August is the same month she died
@@Tardis2004-y6othe irony..😨😨
3:00 News at Ten didn’t return until 2008, I think ITV’s nightly news was at 10:30PM at the time.
It was back for one night only following the news of the King. It was just that the announcer called it News At Ten by mistake
we know it’s a mock, but we are afraid that king charles iii has cancer, and we hope that he will be cured from cancer as soon as possible, so he can’t die.
2:29 Thanks for letting me know.
Just incase you didn’t hear Mark Austin say it countless times during the newsflash
Jeremy Kyle, This Morning and Loose Women have been abandoned to broadcast due to the sad events.
1:33 Love the ITV ident - actually looks genuine even though it's meant to be a mock. Great CGI!
@@TheLogoWorldUK1 Thank you, I actually used the the ITV video which they was apologising for the Premium Rate Scandal and I always thought it would be a good Sombre ident for that time.
@@mockstv9739 Ah yes, I remember - I've seen it before! TV Live has it on UA-cam, that's how I came across it!
Imagine if it happens this year or 2025
The king might still be here in 2025
2:26 Whats the music called?
