Dude Joseph had help with pillar men with his stand but even one of figure it out Kakyoin stand is way more better than him and he out stealth Dio and caught him in it before dio use THE WORLD but still his way more smarter then him
In my opnion, Hierophant is an amazing stand (one of the best from the original universe), but that's cause Kakyoin truely understands the limitations of it and works he way around to turn then in advantages. It's truely a shame he was so underused in part 3
Hierophant Green's my favorite stand but it's so weird. Shooting emeralds at people, tentacles, and body control are such unrelated concepts but they're put together in one stand just because. It's great. Also I love the design, very nice.
Aye you describe hierophant pretty perfectly! It got me thinking tho, what stands could defeat the world, other than star platinum. I guess youd have to surprise the user so that hes unable to stop time, like sheer heart attack did to jotaro. Anyway nice analysis kakyoin is my favorite crusader♡
Thanks for watching! I honestly can't think of many in Part 3 that could take on The World. Once time is stopped, you're finished. I suppose Yellow Temperance COULD but he'd have to cover his entire body in the goo before DIO stopped time.
@@BizarreStarPlatinum i actually want to know why that's the case Was Kakyoin (Controlled by DIO at that time) too cocky? Or was his emerald splash just that weak?...
@@zinciblezfide8827 My 2 guesses are: 1. Deflecting it gives his opponent a moment of badassery and shows they are strong enough to do possibly win, creating tension for the reader/watcher. 2. It was just too predictable of a move.
Iggy is the Fugo of part 3. But the utilization is reversed. Only fought at the last parts. Consider how fast Iggy can create his overly designed sand 'golem', choking enemies with sand is barely an inconvenience.
I always though that when kakyoin used his puppet in his fight with jotaro it was so he could better visualize where the nurse was going as to not put as much strain on himself
It's great fun going into detail about the Stands and writing about them. Part 3's Stands are nice and simple to analyse but I'm hoping to move on to future Parts soon. Thanks for watching, commenting and for the suggestions also :D
Hierophant green is a strategic stand. You can use its silence and ability to unravel for things like making a net to catch you, or a trap to tie up an enemy. It could be deadly in battle, and an incredible assassin, but Kakyoin has a strict moral compass. He vowed not to use the ability to send Hierophant inside of people anymore, deeming it evil. While it's noble, he weakened his Stand by not using it. Hierophant isn't a bad Stand, the User was simply too stubborn sadly. However, Kakyoin's intelligence does pair very well with the stand in things like setting traps, so while he isn't completely useless because of that, he still did limit himself a lot, which was his downfall. You know how he sunbathed with his uniform on? Yeah. He hates change. He refuses to use his Stand in a deadly way like Polnareff does. Sad, but understandable I suppose.
Body entering is more difficult to do against someone who can see it. Pulling it off without the element of suprise and without breaking his newly revived morals would have been nearly impossible.
I hate the 'No one can deflect the emerald splash' meme. Because it influences a good portion of the JoJo fandom in thinking that Kakyoin is useless or low tier member of the gang. Its not like he -saved crybaby Polnareff from getting killed and carried the whole Hanged Man fight -carried the Lovers fight -defeated Death 13 by himself -nor found out DIO's ability Araki probably wrote Kakyoin out the 1/3 of the story because he is too useful.
I like to think Kakyoin didn’t use the possession ability a lot mainly because he would have to make an opening for unraveling fast enough to put a tentacle in the enemy’s body. I mean Hierophant and it’s tentacles are fast, it caught Tower of Grey. But I think Kakyoin just doesn’t like to use possession unless he is certain he can pull it off. Otherwise Hierophant and its tentacles are vulnerable in close range to the enemy and their stand.
So... Kakyoin was like "I have this extremely amazing power that can make me a very interesting person, can help me to help others and will be a very amazing ability to play with friends but I don't vibe with the boys here so I will be alone"
I could do at some point, yeah! I'm not limiting myself just to Stands so Hamon is definitely possible. Thanks for watching, and for the suggestions :)
Wait, I forgot that Hierophant can actually go that small to enter bodies. Why didn’t he try that with Dio? Like while Dio was deflecting 20 m Emerald Splash, he steps on one and instead of the emeralds, a tiny tentacle enters Dio but without him noticing it. Then when he is about to donut Kakyoin, Hierophant kicks in just in time to halt Dio from within and basically punches a hole in his side then Emerald Splash to get him off. He doesn’t die, but he does fall due to exhaustion as it is mentioned Stands can become very small but it takes a lot out of the user. Idk. I just keep on rewatching Part 3 because of the Crusaders.
I like to think he only uses his ability to go inside people because he thinks it’s wrong. He only uses it when he is possessed by a flesh bud, and it’s his last hope.
A lot of people ive heard say Kakyoin is a boring and unrelatable character but i can relate to him a lot since i am a bit lonely and shy in life and like to keep to myself.. i think kakyoin was a really good character and brought a lot to the crusaders.. although its a bit sad we never got to see the full potential of EMERALD SPLASH!!!!

Kakyoin thinks of Stands as people instead of weapons

@feigninghappiness :3 exactly
@feigninghappiness :3 id love to see that

I remember in eyes of heaven, kakyoin ask jotaro part 4 “how’s star platinum”
I mean stands are the manifestation of your own fighting spirit so they basically are *you*

It’s just a noodle
Incase if your curious, heres how Kakyoin get his stand, is easy. Since Jotaro has a stand, and Kakyoin is his friend,
Jotaro made out with Kakyoin
The reason Heirophant Green didn't enter enemy bodies is that they would see it coming and be able to resist in a way Non-stand users couldn't.
