This Einstein for Developers is a great tool. It saves me from having to work outside vscode with copilot. However, as a SFDX developer, it doesn't do me much good when it doesn't work with scratch orgs.
It should work within Scratch orgs as well. All you need is a feature called EinsteinGPTForDevelopers in your scratch definition file. Also note you will need to enable the Einstein for Developers in your DevHub too before enabling it for scratch orgs. Do you need any additional licenses? I can't get it working. It says i need Einstein developer permissions enabled. I have enabled that in my orgs. I don't see the prompt builder icon at all in my code builder
