Ingredients:
Caramel Syrup:
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup water
FLAN:
10 Egg Yolks (Large Eggs)
(Use 12 eggs if using small size)
1 can SWEETENED Condensed Milk (395g)
1 can EVAPORATED milk ( 410g or 385ml)
1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice

This is the best flan recipe ever!! Flan is the kind of recipe that you either hit or miss. This recipe is a hit. Most "flan" you eat around here, in America, is nasty and that's why most people don't like it here. This recipe is what you expect flan to taste like. Not nasty, flavorless jello with a hent to eggieness. It's gross. But this recipe! 😍😍😍 It's one of my favorite desserts to make. I hated flan until a Filipino friend made me some, and I was in heaven! I asked him how he made it, and this is almost exactly what he did. Same ingredients. I love it 💕 Thank you so much. Now I try to spread the love of flan here 😂 May Allah reward you for such a table treasure!

No it’s not the perfect recipe. It’s missing a key ingredient, vanilla. Very disappointing
@@llama6238 lol why so harsh? Not to me. I use vanilla extract in almost all my baking. This one doesn't need it. But I'll definitely give it a try. Everyone likes and dislikes whatever it is. Food can be made however we like. You shouldn't be disappointed. Just add it in yourself. The amount of time you took to write this comment, you could have simply taken the vanilla extract from your cabinet and added it. It isn't VERY disappointing if you already know that's how you like it. Many have made this recipe and can't agree with you. It's subjective. Be kind. It would have been better if you said "This recipe is almost perfect for me, but I think it's even better with vanilla extract It's a very important ingredient for me." Or something like that. You take care of yourself.

Just tried it this morning, first time ko gumawa na pure egg yolk, sobrang naappreciate ko feeling ko perfect na tlga, dati kasi tinatry ko whole egg at lasang itlog parin hahahahaha achieve! Thanks
The way I cook my leche flan is similar to yours except for two things, I do 3 whole eggs and 7 yolks and second I use lemon rind instead of lemon juice. I also tried including vanilla, but never liked the combination. So I just stick to lemon. There’s fresh aftertaste that I really like. I’m trying now your version of lemon juice 😊

*_We use both the yolk and the white when we make our Leche Flan and the result is still perfect, everybody loves it and it has that perfect texture and softness. We just mix patiently using a mixer._* 😊
*_Yes i do have another version of this as well using both the yolk and whites... same technique and ends up great, but using the yolk only will give your flan a perfect smoothness and creaminess all the time_*
she used the yolks to get a dense and smooth leche flan. you can always add the whites but the texture would be a bit different

This is the perfect recipe. kapag kasi na overmixed yung ingredients, magiging spongy at hindi creamy yung flan. Dapat gentle lang yung pagmix like the way she does. 👍

Yes its the same… just make sure to cover it with foil and use low heat when steaming.

150 to 160 celcius around 50 minutes depending on the size of your pan
Currently nasa oven yung ginagawa ko sana successful. Hehehe
I cool down mo lang totally and chill overnight just to make sure it would set properly

Pano po kung doblehin ko yung ingredients, sa isang malaking try na lang ilagay. ganun pa din po ba yung temperature saka yun tagal ng oras ng pag luto?
Mga ilang mins po ba dapat i mix para masabng hindi overmix i tried many times saka pag po ba ni baked sa gas oven san ilalagay na layer
Middle rack ko lang nilalagay, top & bottom yung heat ng oven ko... pag feeling mo na nahalo na siya ng maayos stop mo na... kasi the more na mix mo mag create na siya ng bubbles... mga less than 2 minutes tapos ko na haluin...

Yes... if you like it warm then its ok. But maybe the texture would be too soft. Putting it on frdige overnight will make your flan set even better when chilled. Thank you for watching🧡🧡🧡

No need to cover when baking (water bath) in the oven ... i only cover it fully with foil when steam cooking.

Yes pwede po... basta “heat” resistant na glass container... if tupperware na microwavable di ako sure if pwede lagyan ng caramelized sugar, kasi masyadong mainit yun baka masira ang tupperware (made of plastic). If glass containers mas safe siya☺️
