There is a purple frag plug from Amazon as well and maybe from the same company and I can’t cut those either… I bought 200 of them and stuck with them now 😭😂.
I'm not so sure, it definitely looks like it when you stand back, but its not structured like Bryopsis I've seen when you look close, more like single strands, less fern shaped like Bryopsis. I would love to try other methods of removal before I use that as a last resort. But I appreciate the comment and will make a video about it no matter what I do!

It's an imbalance of nutrients that started when the chetomorpha in my sump melted around the same time I was dosing nitrate to get my nutrients up. I just need to increase my cleanup crew and my algae eating fish, supplement with a few more types of copepods, and it should work itself out. Getting the nutrients in balance is the key, but I still have low nitrate because it's all being used up and stored in the algae as fast as it goes in. Phosphate is 0.03 if you're curious.
What would you like me to add to the reef tank next?! And, did I go overboard at the end or did it get what it deserved?
