I had the pleasure of witnessing a Muratti semi some 20 years ago when Alderney gave Guernsey a fine game and lost 2-1. That evening my groundhopping mate and I ventured into a pub where the Alderney team happened to be (we'd chatted to them in the clubhouse after the game) and they recognised us straight away and got us beer. This film brought back loads of happy memories. If you've never visited Alderney, do so. Thay say good things come in small packages, and Alderney's testament to that.
That was 2019.....what happened in 2020? I am supporting you here from Mississippi, wasted my youth playing soccer around London and really feel for the team. One day, one day....
