I made the exact ring in red white and yellow gold.Make sure you get the correct customer finger size BEFORE making as sizing as sizing will change the equal shape of the ring.

I worked at a store where we made quite a few square bands but usually just plain. Wore one myself during my first marriage. They're comfortable but a super PITA to size. Nice bead setting job, not a lot of guys around who can still do that, at least in the US.
Yeah I love that shape band! I’ve never had to resize one but I can imagine it’s a mess :)

A really beautiful design for a man's ring. So many different skills were needed to complete it (wax carving, casting, engraving, stone setting, and of course a great skill for the design itself). A work of art and I am awe of your skill.

Spin casting is a blast! I'm working on a future video that we're calling trailer park sling casting lol. It's going to be a low budget casting option. I'm not sure how safe it will be though haha. The guy who taught me fine jewelry is doing it with me :)

The Cornflower Blue Sapphires look electric.💎🇦🇺The final video of the. Ring spinning , the gold looked like Silver. Maybe address that and keep it until you make another that you lie more. This one could be an heirloom keepsake too.

I saw that aero sticker new subscriber
When I was working as a jeweler, I made a European square shanked ring for my wedding band. I cast it in two parts and welded the white and yellow gold together and set 8, .25ct. white diamonds channel set in two rows and a .65 point green diamond on the end of the channel set stones. I then set 4, .20ct white diamonds one on each outer top edge at the ring. I made the mistake of taking my ring off while working on my home after Hurricane Harvey, and had one of the contractors who was in my home decided to steal my ring along with a gold cross I had also made. I didn’t discover them missing until the next day. When I confronted the contractor’s helper he played dumb until I fired him, and he gave himself away, but there was no way for me to prove it to the police. Lesson learned.

Skyler, not only did you master coin ring making, but you are mastering fine jewellery making as well! What is the trick to engraving? How do you come up with the designs to engrave on the piece you are making.
It is just tons of practice. I'm still a long way from where I want to be with engraving at the moment but I'm getting better for sure! I spend a ton of time looking at Google images and old architectural pics to get ideas.

You definitely have skills especially when your cat jumped up on your shoulder LOL !! Why can't you just use 14k gold from old jewelry and when you were setting the holes for the stones it looked like you were skimming off some of the metal was that because you made the holes to deep ? Nice ring and different !!
Thanks!! You can use old gold but it's best to have 50% new gold in order to avoid casting issues. The holes need to be a specific depth in order to set them :)

Love watching the engraving you do. Would love to see more video content on the engraving. What engraving tools do you use? Any hand push engraving tools? Not sure I want to invest in the pneumatic setups yet.
Lesson learned. Coffee makes it harder to do fine detail work than a cat jumping on your shoulder!

If I want to make a ring that has many gems on the side of the ring, how should the stones be set? Pavé setting? Or some other way? I have a design in mind, but have only ever seen ONE ring designed that way.
You could set them all sorts of ways. This was none of a pave / bead set.
