Jacob, man you don’t know how much your shows mean to me! They have gotten me back into fishing since I was a little boy, I’m 42! It’s one of the best things that’s happened to me, due to life’s struggles , I needed this more than you’ll know! Again, started taking my daughter fishing for first time and life is good! Hey Jacob I am the guy who got you to take a picture with at the wolftever bridge boat ramp then saw you a couple days later and got you to sign my hat. I wanted to give you a heads up on a really good spot that is just starting to get good. This time of the year every year I have found out that smallmouth largemouth striped bass and yellow bass start coming up on shad under chickamauga dam basically right around the railroad bridge thats over the river down there I went down this morning but the water was up and moving fast so I had to move down river where chickamauga creek comes in to the river. But caught 6 this morning all around and over two pounds on a Zara spook if the water is not moving fast the will be blowing up like crazy this week and probably for the next couple of weeks but one thing I will tell you, you have to be there right at first light if you wait until 9 to go down there they will not be blowing up like they would be at first light and maybe a little before. If you go down there just fish it. Last year I caught 4 largemouth they weighted over 8 pounds and 3 smallmouth that weighted around 6 pounds. Big bass all on top water baits amazing time of year on chickamauga lake.
I'll have to check it out! been meaning to get down and fish below the dam a little
