This is lipped, it’s amazing to me how she pulls off lipping with the host of that show and all the audience right there. I know that song very well and there’s not a note sang not exactly identical to her studio recording. Every breath, every ad lib. That is playback. But I love her ! 😘❤️
Seriously though, how can the audience not know she’s lip synching when she’s right next to them?
Some of them might. Even if they did, I don’t think it was as obvious to people back then as it is now.
Also, I think this is promotional, so the album was probably not released everywhere yet.
