Maaan I wish I crossed your channel sooner when I actually started taking waving seriously back in 2014 (been waving since 9th grade but I'm 25 now) especially about the focusing on the crown part. Sadly I was one of those people that took all that goofy advice from other wavers and tried going for a swirl without focusing on my crown back in 2014. Boy I tell ya....it wasn't pretty to say the least. Ended scalping and starting over multiple times and ultimately I gave up on them. This waving thing aint for everybody if you want elite waves like you said. Great video bro

However for me personally if you have you money I bought expensive and colorful brushes because it motivated me to brush more. Just a personal thing for me. I was always hyped to get a new Torino or royalty in the mail and put in that brush work.
That 2 brushes in one got my waves going! I started my waves in like July and I have to say, my waves are definitely spinning. I recently bought some Grand Torino brushes and my waves look sooo much better after just 2 weeks. My issue now is forks. I'm definitely going to use your method to search on UA-cam so I can find your videos!
As you said, do what works for you bro. Murrays, shampoo and conditioner, and my fav oil to use as a moisturizer has worked for me for years. A1 channel

You can put pomade in your hair at anytime except when you superwolfing you only need a quarter size amount of pomade you can put it in at a 1.5 start brushing thats where u gain the most progress

What do you suggest that I do as i do not have the ability to purchase things online and lack the funds to do so?

How should you wash you waves when they are under curls length. Since you said brush till dry isn’t recommended
try wolfing for like 2 weeks, then wash your hair so you dont lose progress all like that
