- Peroral Endoscopic Myotomy (POEM) is a procedure for Achalasia Cardia treatment.
Myotomy is simply a cut on Lower Esophageal Sphincter of the esophagus to relax the tightness which prevents the foods to enter in stomoch from the esophagus.
In this Surgery, without getting any scar or cut on the outer or external body, Myotomy is performed by endoscopy orally.

Bhai , I have also done the POEM at pune. Now, after one and half Month i am feeling good. Iam enjoying my food with no difficulty while eating. Sir, I have a question if i have lax Les means loose lower esophageal spinchter, which fails to close eventually cause acid reflux, in this case can achalasia cardia be present? Please please reply sir..I am in a great trouble.
That problem which you are talking about is called GERD and exactly opposite to Achalasia.
Consult with a gastroenterologist, in this, medicine works generally.
My wife is going to get her surgery done this week. We choose POEM because it has faster recovery rate and there won't be any scar on the body.

Brother, don't worry, consult with your same doctor if there is something wrong, so he can make that okay or he will suggest you something. Moreover, recovery takes time to give better results.
Good morning sir i just watch yours video coming to point in 2020 i was undergone laparoscopic fundoplication for grade 3 heitus hernia but after sx intervention i suffered recurrent esophageal candidiasis, severe h pylori positive and now i suffer dysphagia so done manometry test and diagnosed with ineffective esophageal motility

Time depends on the number of booked appointments for tests and you, but possibility is between 1 month to 3 months i think.
