The way Nollywood films deal with rape is utterly alarming and appalling. STOP treating this major issue like it's a trivial matter. She was raped twice and NOBODY said anything about the first time - the film treated it like she didn't go through such a traumatic event and didn't address it whatsoever. Then it happened AGAIN and still nothing. They just sat there talking about it like what he did was minor. Rape is a SERIOUS CRIMINAL OFFENSE. STOP treating it in films like it's nothing because if you keep doing that, you're sending a seriously fucked up message to your audience and society at large. It's 2022 for fuck sake. DO BETTER DAMN IT!
