I owned a '67 SS 396 Camaro in the early 70's...one of my favorite cars ever...the 396 only came with 325 HP in the Camaro so it wasn't crazy fast but it was fun to drive.
As well as the acid dipping, they control arms were relocated to give better handling and lowering. The very old Chevy Power manual from Chevrolet had all the changes done to the SCCA Z28s. Try and find a copy if you can, Very interesting & informative.
