Aladdin meets Parkour! Filmed in the country of Uzbekistan, in 8K.
We had the opportunity of a lifetime to film in the country of Uzbekistan, which is in Central Asia :) The two locations we filmed in were Bukhara and Khiva. Everything looked straight out of a movie, but it was all real. The people were incredibly friendly, the food was incredible, and the buildings and history were phenomenal!

The main parkour athlete/Aladdin was played by Calen Chan. He is an incredible parkour athlete that we have worked a ton with. Check out his work now:

We travel for 15 days in Uzbekistan... in amazing, there is no words to describe how we fell walking through this magic towns, cities, desert, mountains. Since I was a kid I dream of Samarkand, finally, with 65 years on my back, I could realize it.
Can't believe they chased me for that long. ;) Uzbekistan was absolutely amazing, whoever is reading this comment better consider making a trip there sometime in your life, the culture and architecture is breathtaking! Huge thanks to them and Devin for this opportunity! :)

I expected some places to still look like how they get portrayed in games and films. but never thought they would look so much the same. They have all the little crevices, platforms and grabbable parts that they add in the games and films, it's almost too perfect not to use to your advantage. The perfectly set up stalls and carpets. amazing. Such a gorgeous city.

The architecture of the square you’re running in is beautiful (Registan Square). I built a model of it for my global history fair in school last year. It was nice to see you doing parkour around it, and imagining a miniature version of you parkour for around my model

This whole chase sequence has got to be 10x better than the live action film. I kinda wish they added a parkour element to the film, but overall, incredible job.
